PRAYER INTENTION

We pray for a Rekindling of our spiritual lives.

An important element of rekindling is understanding the scheme of the enemy- part of it is this - please listen- whether it is music, dressing,  entertainment you should know that everything that Satan does, he does because he has an agenda in mind- it is called programming so even when you come to church and you listen to a bible teaching what we are hoping to achieve with the bible teaching is to set you to think in a certain way, to help you conduct yourself in a certain way and get you to begin to demonstrate certain behavioral characteristics- it is all programming-  so if you don’t understand that what is happening in the visible world via influence from the invisible world is programming- you will expose yourself to all kind of things and the consequences is that your life will not be moved in the direction that God has in mind – 

Let me list 4 basic things that have crippled the church in the modern day. 

• Pleasure

• Entertainment

• A lack of commitment to what is godly or sacred

• Religious activity

This 4 are the gateways for the activities of the spirit of the age-look eerh everything that Satan is doing – he is doing from the above 4 portals- so for instance there is a reality show that started somewhere in Africa, something brother house they called it- where people are housed and all sort of things are done on live Tv-  and if you ask the lovers of that program they will tell you it is entertainment- meanwhile-that is soft pornography and what Satan is doing is programming- he knows you will not buy his craft or story or manipulation or evil merchandise - if you see it for what it is- so he packages it as entertainment. 

Are you aware some of the beats you love so much are demonic beats laced with different demonic programming of sickness, poverty, stagnation and lust- I am telling you- you can listen to one beat today and that’s the gateway for sickness into your dimensions in 2 years- 

Why do you think we are encouraged to use hymns, praise, thanksgiving always- Ephesians 5:19-21- " Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ " 

This is what scripture encourages us to do- however the average believer listening to me thinks as he/she whiles away time on snapchat, tiktok, Instagram and other social media handles- it is just entertainment- who told you it is just entertainment- it is programming- that is what it is.

Some of you wake in the morning and when God wakes you up- the first thing you feed your spirit are this unspiritual sounds, audio visuals and graphics- and you don’t know it is programming? So the average believer will not discuss Jesus, the WORD, or the Holy Spirit when they meet- it is the latest trend on Instagram, snap chat, tiktok- listen to the name tick tock- no wonder your heading is always ticking tock and your mind is always snapping at chats- yet we run commentaries on this mundane things- because the average believer thinks Christianity in it ideal form is boring- so we need to add something to spice it up-

 I studied church history and I found out that- the hymns that they sang in those days were so powerful- simple hymns that came out of peoples engagement with God in the secret place- they sang those simple hymns and people will break under the anointing- 

Today we can have a crusade and bring all the wonderful gadgets, musical instruments, nicely dress men and women of God and yet people still go back home as they came- no change- no wonder some of us foot soldiers started to become dissatisfied- we began to ask, are we going to continue like this till we die? Something is missing- there is a missing link- this is certainly not the God our forefathers told us about-this is not the movement- Jesus came to reveal to us.

Now if the song doesn’t have some ama-piano- ama-guitar, ama-base drums, we do not feel we are enjoying God- carnality in the church at the highest level-  To the extent that we are beginning to pick demonic beats from the other side, transport them into church; add some Christian lyrics and we think it is gospel- oooh don’t worry about the beat we say- it’s about the lyrics- are you aware you can listen to a beat, instrument or music and all of a sudden you lust takes over and you are desiring for sex by the roadside? Are u aware you can listen to a beat  and all of a sudden you are feeling for a particular food or appetite.  

We do all manner of things in the name of worship- do you know why? Because we want to be entertained- we want something to excite us- we cannot be still and know that He is God- because we think that Christianity is boring- meanwhile the Christianity that that our fathers  practiced that they conquered nations were done without the additions we have today- without the things we call life or excitement- yet our fathers like Apostle Peter and his colleagues who were uneducated men-  brought pagan nations on their knees and established the kingdom of God- 

This simple gospel that Peter preached without amapiano or ama-guitar beats, without instrumentalist and singers- on the day of Pentecost- converted people and 3000 more people were added to the church- that’s what they were running with- with valour, vehemence and  they brought kings, and kingdoms on their knees, now we are here- we attend the best theological schools, some are even trained as long as 13 years to become ministers of the gospel, yet the ministers themselves are being afflicted with diseased conditions and life issues that even pagans do not suffer from, we have all the ama-piano, ama guitar beats, all the best lightening systems in magnificent buildings yet the cripple still come to church and go back the same- people are still carrying spiritual burdens that their ancestors tarried with- we demonstrate no power, no authority- meanwhile Jesus said if we believe in him we will do more than he did (John 14:12) “I can guarantee this truth: those who believe in me will do the things that I am doing. They will do even greater things because I am going to my father ”- this are Jesus’ own words and we saw this palpable in the life of the early church- where is that power, that authority?- 

Now we have all this amapiano rhythms and finely dressed well ministers yet we cannot affect government-common government we cannot affect-see how those in leadership are misbehaving with impunity- and not one single Christian leader can call them out- they come to our churches with donations that we know is blood money but we still call them forward anyway and pray for them and bless them in the name of only God knows which god- 

 We have churches littered in every street corner meanwhile as you hear my voice wickedness is on the increase, in some cases we treat each other even worse than animals do to each other-

Wait ooh -is it only me who is seeing these things- is it only me who is having this lamentations or some else shares my burden _ Can’t we see there is something fundamentally wrong with this generation- when I see this things, the more my heart breaks and the more I want to give up on religion- is it not a scam?
