DAY 18 of 21 DAY MERCY PRAYER & FAST

" ... I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion. So then, everything depends, not on what human beings want or do, but only on God's mercy " - Romans 9:15-16

PRAYER INTENTIONS

Lord have mercy

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasure of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to your holy will which is love and mercy itself. Amen

PRACTICE PREVENTIVE SPIRITUALITY

Hear me when I tell you that in this time and season, it is costly to start looking for answers when trouble comes.

Simply put, this is an age of PRAYER, an intensive period of prayer and REPENTANCE, and the LORD is looking for persons who will WORSHIP him in SPIRIT and TRUTH.

If you joke with your prayer life, reading of the word, and spiritual growth - the times will swallow you up. Do not wait till trouble comes then you are now looking for answers or for which mystery to use because – sometimes – trouble has the capacity of destroying you and will not give you the chance to learn what to do to overcome it.

You must be ready and prepared. You prepare for battle before a battle, you don't prepare for battle during battle - don’t wait until they tell you, your wife cannot give birth, then you are now looking for solutions that can navigate another path and cause your wife to put to give birth, already before you even get married, start praying for your future wife, future husband, and unborn children.

Lay hands on your children while they are asleep, pray for them, prophesy into their lives- into their future - you are the priest of your house - do it.

Don’t wait till you get sick, before you start looking for spiritual help, already as you are healthy constantly pray for good health. Don’t wait till an accident is imminent, then you start calling Jesus, before you start your journey, commit it into God’s hands.

Don’t wait until they sack you from work - then you are now looking for the mystery of favor and grace to use... Your approach to the issues of life in this season and beyond should be preventive, not curative.

PRACTICE PREVENTIVE SPIRITUALITY NOT CURATIVE.

This time and season, surround yourself with mysteries of the kingdom - so that when the Devil fires, before his arrows get to you, you have a reply waiting to counteract the arrows. Make SPIRITUALITY a DEFAULT for your daily life. Before his arrows get to you, you have a revelation in store that will arise, a shield that is a defense. Whether you are sleeping or awake; it is a defense.

I repeat, do not react to things when they come. Do not wait until the day they tell you - something bad happened - then you are now panicking. God is equipping us with the mysteries that will prepare us so that nothing surprises us this season and beyond.

So someone comes and meets you and says “we are in trouble.” You reply “glory to God.” Don't worry there is a system in the spirit where we can remedy the constraints. Your confidence in life is based on the mysteries of the kingdom you are equipped with, namely wisdom and knowledge for all aspects of life.

FEAR is a product of IGNORANCE. You will always be afraid when you perceive that you are not in control of a situation. This is the reason for fear; you fear anything you have no control over and Ignorance gives the Devil control over any aspect of your life.

Knowledge is power. Hence, we don't say -we don't know whether we are going to live or die; we do not know if things will work out or if the breakthrough will come or not if our dreams will come to fruition or not...

We don't say - we do not know whether we will be rich or poor, we do not say we do not know whether we will be successful or failures; we do not say we do not know whether people will favor us or not; uncertainty, doubt and fear all over the place. The antidote to fear, doubt, and uncertainty is knowledge.

Therefore, if for instance someone who has been helping you since looks at you and says “sorry I can’t help you again” - you just say in reply, "thank you for everything, you have even done more than enough. God bless you."

Why will you give this response? Because you understand a mystery that every perfect gift comes from above. It only comes through human beings not from human beings and if one person is not available heaven is still available and it can find another person to express thyself.

God is the source, all others are channels, and there are 8 billion people? God can certainly find one person to use to bless you. This revelation alone settles you, and instead of worrying and wailing like a fatherless child begging the person not to withdraw his support - you begin to worship-.

See eerrh! Once you find out that your life is a product of fear and panic; it is not because you are young or old, it is not because you are a civil servant or businessman. It is because you have not sustained the mysteries of the kingdom, the understanding, the wisdom, or the knowledge that gives you confidence.

Nobody is born with confidence. It is a resultant effect of something; joy is a product of something, fear is also a resultant effect of something you know or don't know.

LIFE IS ESSENTIALLY SPIRITUAL, FOCUS ON THE SPIRITUAL OVER THE PHYSICAL. Scripture says everything that is done in the house of God - must be done from the standpoint of spiritual mindedness, (Romans 8:5) everything must be done under the influence of the anointing otherwise it will add to jeopardizing the atmosphere and not allow God’s presence find expression in your life.

Value spirituality over talents and gifts. ANYONE you want to have a deal with, value spirituality over gifts. If you want to hire someone; two persons come and they are all qualified, please value spirituality.

By talking about spirituality, I am referring to someone who has the fear of the Lord and will impact your environment with the things of God. Remember, the Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Associate with people who fear the Lord in all your dealings. If you must deal with someone who doesn’t fear the Lord out of necessity, keep your ears closed to negativity and your eyes open, and don’t allow them to corrupt you.
