There is a need for PERSONAL CONNECTIVITY, we have to personalize the experience, that’s the only way we get to benefit from the fruits of this historical event. It is not enough to remember what Christ did from a historical point of view or perspective, we must of necessity CONNECT PERSONALLY with what Christ did on the Cross.
So permit me to ask you the multi dollar spiritual question- Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Personal Saviour ? Don’t be quick to answer, it is a serious question am asking you. - Monk Reflections
A SET BACK IS A SET UP FOR A COME BACK
Only a week earlier, the people in Jerusalem were proclaiming that Jesus was their King. Now, He was dead on a cross- How could God let this happen?
It was a time of doubt, hopelessness, defeat and depression for those who believed in Jesus.
Have you ever been through a time of doubt, a state of hopelessness, defeat and depression? Have you ever asked God, “ how He could be up there and allow this happen to you, to your family, to your friends and to our nation?
Well, Jesus’s closed associates started asking themselves questions like; could He be the Son of God? Why didn’t he save himself? Now he is dead, how could he be the Hero who would save them?
For his enemies there was relief, one more “ trouble maker ” had been silenced and now things could return to normal again, however, what they didn’t count on was that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit had other plans.
Death wasn’t the end, it was actually the beginning, his enemies miscalculated. See- I prophesy into your life, your enemies will miscalculate, that trouble, that challenge, that yoke us not the end. They think they are done with you, they don't know you are a tough seed.
Bottom line is this- God will not allow any person or thing to keep you from your destiny. Your destiny may delay, but it will never be denied. A setback is therefore a set up for a come-back.
So never make permanent decisions about temporary situations. Don’t be like Peter and the six other disciples who went back to fishing after the death of Christ, because they thought it was over. (John 21:1-3) Don’t look at your situation and make permanent decisions.
Life, I admit is difficult sometimes, if it weren’t we wouldn’t be tested and forged in the fire of life, so be thankful for the struggle-
... for the struggles will help you grow, learn, change and give you the chance to rise above yourself. So try and see setbacks as possible new beginnings, a ReBirth and a chance to improve upon your life. See setbacks as opportunities to build muscles so you can become stronger and better.
My point today is this, whatever your situation is it will change. Jesus was in the grave for 4,320 minutes- 259,200 seconds, everyone thought it was finished, then God showed who’s boss and delivered him from the power of the grave, no matter how long you have been in your grave, God is coming for you.
God knows how to shift things around and get you to where you are supposed to be. Be PATIENT and TRUST the PROCESS . Prepare for a paradigm shift. If anybody ask you who you are? Just stand up tall and look them in the face and say-“ because of what Christ did on the cross for me- I am a star, I am full of hope, I am a giant, I am an eagle, I am a lion and I am a hero. ”
Tap into your ReBirth, and remember that because of the sacrifice of Jesus you are the world greatest- there has never been any great person like you-never ever forget that- You, I mean you listening to me, are the world’s greatest, you are the reason God went all out to sacrifice his only BEGOTTEN SON - so what else won’t God do for you? A setback is a set up for a comeback. I welcome you to your ReBirth.
Shalom and God bless you.
