DAY 15 of 21 DAY MERCY PRAYER & FAST

" ... I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion. So then, everything depends, not on what human beings want or do, but only on God's mercy " - Romans 9:15-16

PRAYER INTENTIONS

Lord have mercy

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasure of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to your holy will which is love and mercy itself. Amen

HOW DO YOU MAINTAIN DELIVERANCE

Receiving deliverance is one thing, staying delivered and maintaining it is another, it has been observed that many - get delivered of many things at one point or the other but not many remain delivered. What happened – why should that be? Is that God is not powerful enough, sometime after deliverance, the person’s condition comes back even worse off.

I remember a man who was delivered of some evil, years down the line - the man was back in his condition, his condition now worse- why?

I know people who got delivered of things, a couple of weeks later the same things come back? I know people who had different issues, they got delivered, they got healed, and then the issues came back again, why?

We want you to GET DELIVERED and STAY/REMAIN DELIVERED. Simple - Get delivered, stay delivered.

Isaiah 51:1- “Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness and who seek the LORD: Look to the rock from which you were cut and to the quarry from which you were HEWN”

If only you remember how you came out - you can continue to remain out - whatever you did to get delivered continue to do so - increase in it to remain delivered -. Was it a message you listened to-keep the message, keep listening, is it a prayer session, if you can and it's with you repeat it - use it. Is it a piece of particular gospel music, keep listening to it.

In the practice of medicine, there is something called the Start dose- this breaks the disease- It is more of a Super dose. Then the maintaining dose- which is taken to prevent a subsequent attack. So the day you get delivered is more like the start dose, you need maintenance doses.

Consider the below.

Remain in the Lord /remain in uprightness Live above THE FLESH - Ecclesiastes 10:8, says “He who digs a pit will fall into it, and whoever breaks through a wall will be bitten by a serpent”

If you break a wall a serpent will bite you - don’t break the wall/ the wall is your protective suit -.

Isaiah 54:14, says “In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you”.

You can be far from oppression only if you are established in righteousness- until you are established in righteousness you cannot escape afflictions. Righteousness simply means pursuing God with your everything.

Did affliction return - why? Because you broke the wall - if you break the wall protecting you, a snake will bite you. After, each deliverance a wall is built around you by the Holy Spirit, so don't break the wall.

Sometime back, a woman was carried to me - almost dead, God used me to heal her 3 different times, and she finally died peacefully in her sleep after the third healing episode. I was asking myself a lot of questions like God, what is the point, why did we have to heal her, over and over again then she died, or I did not do something right.

The brother came to see me later and told me, MOG, I have something to tell you please don't feel bad - my sister before she died confessed that every time she got well after you prayed for her, she went back to the exact thing you asked her not to do - till the third time she was healed, then she told God, "am sorry, just forgive me now and take me so that I don't die in sin - now that I received total forgiveness - I got to go now so that I don't miss heaven" - and God listened to her.

If you break the wall- the serpent will bite you. Sometimes you pray for people their breakthrough comes when they begin to live anyhow… stop breaking the hedge.

WALK in the LIGHT

Walk in the revelation that brought you liberty. Isaiah 2:5 – “O house of Jacob- come ye and let us walk in the light of the Lord.” Darkness can only return when the light grows dim-.

Revelation is what sustains liberation - keep walking in that revelation that delivered you and brought your breakthrough. Refresh your light- if it’s getting dim, you correct with a brighter light - is there anyone who has said, at this point in my life, I think I have eaten enough, I won't eat again? --- We keep eating.

That’s how the spiritual journey is- pray that prayer, listen over and over to the tape or audio you listened to that God used to give you deliverance, keep listening to it. Every time you listen to it, something happens.

MAINTAIN SPIRITUAL INTENSITY,

Spiritual wakefulness, intelligence is needed to keep the enemy at bay- Romans 12:11 says "not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;"- take for instance a burner whose destiny is to be hot so it can warm and cook food - the destiny of this burner is to be hot so that it can cook food. But now, this burner is cold, and when it is cold, flies will come and dance on it, but when it is warm- the flies will not dare - the same way some of you are cold - hence flies (demons) are dancing on your stove, it's about time you warm up- increase your spiritual temperature- your level of spiritual temperature you maintain is what will drive away affliction-.

- Matthew 13:25-; the enemy plants evil seeds when humans are asleep - the season of spiritual slumbering is a season of high enemy activity…and spiritual emptiness facilitates demonic operations, demonic re-possession and re-entry - Matthew 12:43- when a person has been delivered and the person is empty- no prayer, no reading of the Bible, no worship, no walking in kingdom principles and the devil returns in a greater intensity - and the person condition becomes worse/terrible than the beginning.

I repeat, Spiritual emptiness facilitates demonic oppression, repossession, and re-entry. Be on fire- every time around you see quiet, declare a charge like a lion in the jungle... When you get delivered- stay delivered.

LIVE in the BLESSING. If you do those things that keep you in the blessing- you are kept out of curses
