DAY 17 of 21 DAY MERCY PRAYER & FAST

" ... I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion. So then, everything depends, not on what human beings want or do, but only on God's mercy " - Romans 9:15-16

PRAYER INTENTIONS

Lord have mercy

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasure of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to your holy will which is love and mercy itself. Amen

This means that people who do not pray or don't take their spiritual growth seriously are either at the devil's camp or are walking dead and opened to all kinds of manipulations without even knowing. Okay, now imagine that a person is blind spiritually and cannot sense anything or worse still a person is deaf spiritually and cannot hear anything, look at the little allowance the Holy Spirit has to communicate destiny things to them; so you can have a dream but because you are spiritually blind you will see nonsense, you will get up from that dream, write and discuss it, instead of doing the spiritually needful. You will even write things that were not revealed, why? Because the problem is you are spiritually blind.

You remember Paul, he was blind physically, after he was struck on the way to Damascus but he could see spiritually, he was still seeing, he was in a vision, even though he was physically blind. When you understand these things am talking about, your prayer life is no longer about giving me this or giving me that, I need this, or I need that. - you begin to understand that prayer is like your GPS for navigation - you need it to survive, it becomes a daily necessity for daily survival, so anytime you pray, you are saying to the Holy Spirit, I am at your mercy, make use of my spiritual faculties, fine-tune them, use them to direct me, so I can have a peep into the limitless possibilities and possible dangers.

It is about time you begin to rise above prayers of petition, rise above this give me this - give me that business, and get serious with your spiritual growth.

The spirit of discernment- the Word of God & Prayer will sharpen your DISCERNMENT.

Could it be that if you had been prayerful and spiritually sensitive, you would have been able to avoid that situation you are in now or take advantage of that opportunity that passed you by, or even have enough strength to go through what you are going through now?

Could it be, that had you been prayerful, you would have seen and known...? Look, when you become very sensitive to the Holy Spirit, depending on the gravity of the issue, the Holy Spirit can use multiple channels to strengthen your conviction. _Prayer must then become a daily food and daily practice. Because it is a daily necessity for daily survival. It is a platform for growth and transformation.

You need to know when a season is about to close and another one is about to open, only prayer can help you -. Should I travel, should I marry him/her, should I move...? Only prayer... it is not enough to perceive, you can perceive and what you perceive is not fruitful to you because you do not know what is; or what to do about it.

I pray for you today, may God have many options on how to communicate his intent to you, because if you are blind spiritually and without growth, Satan can give you an aberration of vision and show you something, not coming from God.

We need discernment ooh-.

Discerning of spirits (Perception) ability to perceive spiritual impulse.

• Ability to know the origin, source, and motivation behind a manifestation.

The ability to know whether an activity is initiated and sustained by God or whether it is an act of man's will or it is demonic. It will take discernment for you to know that which is of God or Satan. The ability to make wise and godly decisions.

You will be unwise to imagine everything happening around us are of God. There are things orchestrated by demons, doctrines that come from demons –. “The Holy Spirit says clearly that in the last day's people will abandon their faith giving into obeying seductive and lying spirits and following the teaching and doctrine of demons.” - 1Timothy 4:1. The doctrine of demons is an understanding fabricated intentionally from the pits of hell to destroy saints.

Only through discernment that you can judge righteous judgment as to whether something is from God or not.

You can't perceive accurately if you lack discernment, you will call good evil and evil good - you will call saints devils and call devils saints - it takes discernment.

The realm of the spirit is a spiritual environment and the raw materials we see crystallized here came from the realm of the spirit. Anyone who operates from the realm of the spirit has a superior advantage over you who is just limited to this realm without looking for support from Christ.

And forget not that the correctness of results doesn't mean it is from God. Correctness of result is gauged and backed by the Holy Spirit. Any activity sponsored by the Holy Spirit has God's endorsement. Thus; take, for instance, a Mallam, he can heal, give you money, perform a miracle, it doesn’t mean it is from God and it is of God.

DISCERNMENT, what about the number of times we have peddled stories and destroyed innocent people, because of the tendency to believe quickly what we hear? Let me tell you something even if the most honest person tells me something; I submit it to the spirit of discernment because if I don't I will make a lot of errors. If you don't have discernment as a leader, a leader in your family, church, workplace, you will destroy things, people, and relationships.

The world is full of deception, many of it, people are always having ulterior motives and hidden agendas, and someone can be killing you and be smiling at you; while you are dying, while he is smiling at you.

Have you ever wanted to do something, business, discussion, or partnership, and that night you couldn't sleep, you felt something was off, but you couldn't pinpoint exactly what it was and you went ahead with whatever it was and it backfired? And you tell yourself after, hmm I felt it ooh, that this thing might not work. You must train your discernment by prayer and the word of God. Both must move together, prayer and the word of God.

ABIDE IN THE WORD OF GOD AND APPLY IT

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path" - Psalm 119:105

You must not fear them, for my LORD your God Himself fights for you . - Deuteronomy 3: 22

Most people train their discernment by prayer – they never study the word, you must study the word else you will get into confusion.

If all you do is pray and pray, without studying the word, your eyes will be opened to the realm of the spirit but your capacity to interpret the impulse will be wrong. This is why people give false visions and false interpretations. So you might see someone and think and even call the person a witch, meanwhile the person is not, because even though you are very good at prayer you don’t study the word.

Therefore you are opened to the realms of the spirit because of prayer but you cannot interpret the spiritual data correctly because you are not a word addict. And if you are not careful you will go around calling bad good and good bad.

Some people have destroyed people’s lives, pastors, prophets have destroyed families, marriages, calling everyone a demon because of the lack of discernment. Discernment is needed. May God build us to a level where nothing passes us without us seeing it.

Some of us have had the promptings – but we don't know how to interpret them. So you have a prompting that sickness is around the corner, but you didn’t know what to do till someone died then you say, aaah I felt it ooh, I knew …what did you do about it?

In other news the devil will use destiny helpers to chase you in your dreams, you wake up and because of the lack of discernment you cast and bind your destiny helpers, and meanwhile, it was a diversion Satan created in your dream.

Or he will use your wife or husband or relatives face to do something harmful to you in a dream, then you wake and start attacking the person. Families have been torn apart, people are labeled as witches because someone had a dream.

We live in a generation that casts and binds everything and some of us have cast away the realms and realities from which our breakthroughs will come. We don’t know that sometimes in that trouble is the hidden wisdom of God at work, and God is using the trouble to navigate you into your promised land.

If we are not intelligent spiritually, the devil will present good as bad in your dream, and you become suspicious of the very person meant to help you and you stay broke for the rest of your life.

Satan has used this tactic to destroy people and families. He has made families fight today by using the faces of mothers, fathers, children, relatives, friends in dreams. Brother wakes up the next morning and says to the sister I saw you with a knife and you want to kill me? And now they are not on talking terms because of a dream. All because you lack discernment, you do literal interpretation, and you are doomed.

Our only basis for escaping error is the word of God. The study of scripture is important, it gives us insight into how God works. There are many dreams when you get up, with discernment you will just say is nonsense, you pray and forget about them. The lack of this spirit of discernment can make your launch into territories not meant for you.
