PRAYER INTENTION

We commit this spiritual journey we have began today into God's hands, we pray for His will to be done in our lives this year and we pray for a Rekindle 🔥 in our spiritual lives as we participate in this conference.

I will like to welcome you to this conference- REKINDLE 🔥 It is a beginning of year conference and at the same time a conference strategically designed by the HOLY SPIRIT to Rekindle our Spiritual lives.  Remember I am just an instrument that God has found useful for capacity  building in spirituality and spiritual growth. The aim has always been for you to become spiritually independent and do things for yourself.  For the next 10 days we will be discussing some burdens the Lord has placed on my heart, I believe by the end of the 10th day we would have settled into the conference  and then we can launch into deeper waters from the 11th day. 

The easiest way to sharpen your discernment is to deepen your walk with God. When you deepen your walk with God for every person who enters into your life, you will discern the person through the lenses of Jesus Christ- see eerrh, if you know what having the wrong kind of person in your life can do to you, your life and to your destiny- you will stay in communion with God for life.

Let me tell you a story- factual story- a girl got raped by her brother, to be specific her half-brother. The girl who was raped full brother now killed the half-brother who did the raping- and her father who was King run from his palace like a rogue, like a refugee and like a thief- her father’s legacy was damaged and the person who initiated all of this was in his house relaxing and drinking pito alongside some kebab- the person who initiated this was in his own house and was not affected- he probably married had a wife, had children and lived a good life- but this girl who was raped remained desolate and depressed and troubled all her life- just because one man was in another man’s life- and that man could not discern that this man was a wicked man. Am telling you a story from 2 Samuel 13:1-39. This wicked man is called Jonadab- in fact one translation says he was a crafty man. 

Some of you have this kind of crafty people in your life and the reason why you cannot discern them is because your walk with God has died. Listen to me ooh, it is out of this your walk with God that- it is out of this relationship with God that you are supposed to define every other thing that happens to you ooh. It is out of this walk with God that you choose a wife, that would be mother of your children, it is out of this relationship with God that you choose a husband, the would-be father of your children- you marry someone who has built something with God, someone who knows God, you do not marry looks and material gains- because marriage will test your convictions-

You know it is sweet when you people are talking on phone, when everything is blue blue-when love is blind- in fact just ask people who are courting- now- ooh it is as sweet as honey- and all you are thinking about is how you want to live together.  I know by revelation and other peoples experiences that when you start living together- herh- you will need faith- big faith ooh-listen as a young lady you are going to entrust your life in the hands of a man for the next what 20,30,40, 50 years- how sure are you he will treat you right? How sure are you He will not leave you for another woman some where in the middle of the journey? As a young man you are going to put your life into the hands of a lady you wanna call your wife- how sure are you she will be there  through out the valleys and on the mountains? How sure are you that you fellas will arrive anywhere?  That one will not die and leave the other? How sure are you? 

Marriage is a leap of faith- one big one- but you see what keeps you believing is that first of all there is love, and you have to ensure that the person to whom you are willing to take this journey of faith- that person has already connected to God- it is out of that relationship-with God- that that person can deliver anything to you that will look like destiny- that’s why we beg believers not to compromise on this issues- if He doesn’t know God- it is obvious your journey of faith will become a journey of torture-and hopelessness will overwhelm you- mind you am not talking about choosing a “Christian for a partner ooh”- I said someone who knows God because we have a lot of Christians who do not know God and a lot of pagans who know rather know God- now that’s a parable go think about it. 

Young man, are you aware that when you are choosing a wife you are also choosing the mother of your children? It is selfishness as a woman that you are trying to choose someone to marry and you are forgetting that he will not just be your husband but the father of your children? So, let’s say you can manage and tolerate- can your children Survive him or her? Now there are many homes where children are the ones suffering because of the choices some of you have made- because you didn’t know marriage  was a journey of faith- we just got started and am going off course already, sorry this is not a marriage conference so let me bring my self back the topic- REKINDLE 🔥

So like I was saying it is out of this your relationship with God, this your walk with God that you choose every other thing. It is out of this that you choose your friends, and make other important life choices.-  The failure to understand the intricacies of this relationship with God that’s how people get into trouble, and never make it in life and become fatherless, widows, prisoners, orphans and rebellious- 

Listen you are not designed to do life alone- the first person you need, the first relationship you need to be able to do life is that you need a proper relationship with God- what I love to call a walk with God- this is indispensable- you ignore it at your own peril- sub suo periculo as the Latin’s phrase it. 

It is as this relationship with God progresses- out of that relationship then God will begin to surround you with other relationships that will bless you- and catapult you into your destiny and lead to you fulfilling your manual as ordained by God but you will not be able to discern those relationships if your relationship with God is not working.

Let us look at the guidelines for this conference..

GUIDELINES

1. You will use PRAYER to tithe your day.  A day is 24 hours. One- tenth of 24hrs is 2 hours 40minutes.  So you will spend at least 2 hours 40minutes in prayer everyday. You can decide to do 10 minutes of mental/vocal prayer every 1 hour. Within 12 hours you should have done 2 hours. Or spread the 2 hours 40minutes throughout the day depending on your schedule.

Dedicate some of this hours to reading your bible, worship and praise 

2. As much as possible play and listen to only godly music and worship throughout the period. No worldly music please🙏🏿

3. Participate in the 14 days of Mercy Cry & the 14 days prayer and fast to command the year. 

4. Participate in the 12 days exclusive dedication and surrender to the Holy Spirit🔥

5. Visit a prayer ground, a place dedicated for prayer, adoration chapel, a grotto or your church at least twice and spend an hour in prayer by yourself before the end of the conference.

6. Don't miss the teachings and impartation sessions- Grace and Peace will be multiplied to you by the Holy Spirit as you listen.

7. Draw up your own prayer intentions as you feel led by the Spirit of God.
