DAY 2 of 21 DAY MERCY PRAYER & FAST
" ... I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion. So then, everything depends, not on what human beings want or do, but only on God's mercy " - Romans 9:15-16
PRAYER INTENTIONS
Lord have mercy
Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasure of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to your holy will which is love and mercy itself. Amen
5. PROPHESY
Are you aware you are a priest and a prophet? I explained what that meant in the JERICHO MUST COME DOWN CONFERENCE – so kindly go and revise what it means to be a priest and a prophet.
Proverbs 18:21 reads : “The tongue has the power of life and death. ” The stakes are HIGH ooh. Your words can either bring life, or your words can bring death. Our tongues can build, or they can tear down. An unchecked fire doubles in size every minute.
Check your words. The power of the spoken word - there is no greater time in your life to engage the spoken word than when things go haywire.
Speak the words- don't worry about memorizing the particular chapters or verses, when God gave us his word, it was not broken down into chapters and verses, it was a later development by we humans just to make reading the Bible more easy- in the beginning it was like one long essay-
So speak - Numbers 6:24-26, into your life "The Lord bless me and keep me; the Lord make His face shine on me and be gracious to me; the Lord turn His face toward me and give me peace ." - Personalize it, prophesy it into your life. There are times you pray till prophecy comes. When it comes to, prophesy – you too are a prophet, prophesy into your own life, program and reprogram your destiny, you are co-creator, you are created in God's image, and you have the power; speak to the situation.
Listen you don’t need to memorize the verses and chapters – that is too much work- just saying “Oh God your word says, is more than enough…”
Psalm 138:8 “ The LORD will work out his plans for my life— for your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever. Don't abandon me, for you made me ”, speak to the situation. Moses spoke to the rock, Ezekiel spoke to dry bones, Jesus spoke to the dead Lazarus, and He spoke to demons, to them to get out.
Therefore, prophesy into your own life and declare – God’s mercy shall follow me – prophesy the word of God-.
I prophesy into your life; be full of God’s word and if you are scripturally bankrupt you won’t know what to say but it’s important to know the word, pray Psalm 3 – “Lord I have so many enemies, they have turned against me, they talk and say you won't help me. But you, O Lord are always my shield from danger, you give me victory and restore my courage. I call to you Lord for help and you answer me from your sacred abode. And when I lie down and sleep, all night you protect me, I am not afraid of the thousands of enemies who surround me on every side. Lord punish my enemies and leave them powerless to harm me -.”
When things are not working in your favour – pray and prophesy the word- “my help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth ” - Psalm 124:8.
Pray Psalm 125; “I trust in the Lord, therefore I am like Mount Zion, I can never be shaken, never moved. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds me and my people. The wicked will not always rule over my land, deliverance is here ”.
Pray Psalm 126- Pray- “I am the head and not the tail ” (Deuteronomy 28:13).
Pray- “I will not die, I shall live to declare the goodness of the Lord ” (Psalm 118:17), the Lord is good - unfortunately most believers do not know the word, therefore when the vicissitudes of life come at us then we throw our hands up in the air like orphans.
I dare you to enter into relevant scriptures that concern your situation and stand up like a priest and blast your way out. Pray and say the Lord is good, his love is eternal and his faithfulness lasts forever - Psalm 100:5.
- Pray and say, I reject every confusion in my life, he shall keep me in perfect peace, I put my trust in the Lord, and so he will protect me - Isaiah 26:3.
- Pray and say many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers them all, the Lord will deliver me, Psalm 34:19; even though I sow in tears, I will reap in joy (Psalm 126:5).
- Pray and say for the Lord restoreth unto me the years that the cankerworm has eaten (Joel 2:25) -; Behold am doing a new thing, it is happening, the Lord is making a way in the wilderness for me (Isaiah 43:19); the Lord shall perfect all that concerns me (Psalm 138:8).
- Pray and say, the Lord has done great things for me and my soul has escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and I have escaped (Psalm 124:7); for my shame I received double blessings (Isaiah 61:7). My head shall exult – blessed be my going in and coming out (Psalm 121:8); I will trample upon snakes and scorpions (Luke 10:19) - Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord - generations of upright shall be blessed, Lord you know me, I try now, so according to your words let my children be powerful in the land, let my descendants be blessed, let my family be wealthy and rich. (Psalm 112:2)
Have you seen what you are doing, you are not just speaking, you are creating, you are recreating and you are programming, you are reprograming, you are super-imposing the spiritual upon the physical. Then you continue, though weeping endures in the night joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5) - prophesy into the morning.
In Genesis 32:22–32, Jacob wrestles with God and said: "I will not let you go unless you bless me "-. Then the angel said, "Let me go, for it is daybreak." But Jacob replied, "I will not let you go unless you bless me. The angel asked him, "What is your name?" "Jacob," he answered. Then the angel said, "Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome." Then he blessed him there.
You too must come out ooh. Prophesy it, pray it, Lord change my name, change my situation, change my identity, change my destiny, don’t go till you get what you want.
Hear me in loud in your speakers, in this kingdom eerh, JOY is STRENGTH ooh, Phil 4:4- Rejoice in the Lord always again I say rejoice - the joy of the Lord is your strength. Joy is of the Holy Spirit. I taught about this in the Holy Spirit Conference. Oh Lord I don't know what you are doing but I rejoice, the situation doesn't match the joy and my joyous expression would mock my situation but still rejoice.
Nehemiah 8:10b "for the joy of the Lord is your strength" that means when you lack strength in this kingdom, what you lack is the JOY of Lord - in the physical world when you lack energy, you are given food- in the realm of the spirit, when you lack energy and when you lack strength what you are given to eat is JOY-.
And hear me when I tell you that time and again God doesn’t give you the solution, or take the problem away, he rather gives you JOY and PEACE in the midst of the affliction, and the people around you cannot understand what is so joyful about your circumstances. The JOY of the LORD IS your strength - Count it all joy (James 1:2) will say, the pain, shame, no admission, sickness, disappointment, count it all joy - when they persecute you for my sake count it all joy.
Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”- Romans 5:3-5
Can you watch your child die and still be joyful? Can you see your car on fire and you say to God be the glory and great things He has done? Can you watch your job go and you stand in front of your company, smile, and say to God be the glory. Yes, you fasted and prayed for several days but your loved one still died anyway, can you still give God the glory and say "I thought you will survive but now you are home with your creator, to God be the glory." Can you pray and say, I fasted and prayed about this situation, nothing seems to change, but the Joy of the LORD is my strength.
Never lose your joy, let nothing in this life steal your joy let nobody steal your joy, not lack of money, not lack of child---- this gloominess and sad countenance we carry around is cheating us. Make up your mind to rejoice in the Lord and joy brings harvest - sow in tears and reap in joy.
TO BE CONTINUED....
Shalom and God bless you
