PRAYER INTENTIONS

Ask for the grace for prayer. The grace to be steadfast in prayer and to grow in spiritual matters.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasure of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to your holy will which is love and mercy itself. Amen

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion — to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations. Strangers will shepherd your flocks; foreigners will work your fields and vineyards. And you will be called priests of the Lord, you will be named ministers of our God. You will feed on the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast. Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours .- Isaiah 61

We have people increasing in business, education and wealth but are captives in the Spirit. Captives legally. I wish I was not the one telling you this but some of you as I speak you are in need of deliverance, your families are in need of deliverance, you can hide from everyone, but alone in your mind, in your heart, in your spirit-you know what am talking about- you appear okay, you may even be a pastor, prophet, priest, elder, deacon, Bishop and everyone one is hailing you, but deep in your heart you know that you need deliverance- permanent deliverance- Not temporary. Things are happening and you are calling them coincidences – ignorance is what will kill you.

HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU ARE UNDER CAPTIVITY?

1. HARDSHIPS - the results that should come- do not come, something always stops it. You see it in your dreams, in your life-

3. LOSS OF GOOD RELATIONSHIPS

Satan will begin to kill your connections to people, good people who have the skill and grace to aid you. He will use offense, hurt, pride, and anything possible to kill those relationships. He will move you from your spiritual support base and isolate you from the company of all who can help you.

You will begin to fight with everyone, have problems with everything, including accusing the snail of over speeding. You will begin to feel paranoid, thinking everyone is after you. When you begin to see these signs, know that you are under attack. Satan intentionally destroys your relationships, isolates you so he can finish you.

Listen up, SOLITUDE is different from ISOLATION. When Satan wants to destroy you, he cuts your connections; spiritually, emotionally, and physically. He will use pride to keep you in the offensive position. Remember that scripture says we are not ignorant of his devices/strategies (2 Corinthians 2:11), Satan has a skill, there is a way he does it, he will isolate you, keep you in a position where you no longer have a support system and he will finish you.

Therefore my advice to you this ending of year and beyond is this - Do all you can within your power to maintain relationships that bless you spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Because of our inability to preserve relationships certain things that should come cheap in our lives, we struggle over it aimlessly for there is no understanding. Please guard good relationships, especially spiritual relationships.

4. YOUR PASSION for GOD

Satan will not allow you to be doing all the bad things immediately, that backsliding is too sudden, too fast, and he knows you will realize it quick and come back so he will take it gradually, he will attack your PASSION for GOD, your zeal and enthusiasm towards godly things. The Psalmist said I was glad when they said unto me let us go to the house of the Lord (Psalm 122:1), the GLADNESS is a sign that your SPIRIT is still in TUNE. See eerrh, when people are already backsliding, and the spirit of revival is eroding from their lives, they lose fervor and fire for the things of God and the house of God. They will stop and reduce their participation in spiritual activities, in the name of every other excuse. Has your passion for the things of God reduced? Are you finding yourself now making excuses as to why you couldn’t participate in godly activities organized by your local church?- you are under attack.

5. YOUR PRAYER LIFE

So you say to yourself, I will pray at 10 pm, then you decide to put it on your phone. A friend begins to chat with you - chat gets interesting and for the next 3 hours- chat is on. now it is 10 pm- time for prayer, you tell yourself, oh let me finish this chat and pray, its 12 midnight- no prayer said- chat is still ongoing- you just replaced your time for God with something else- you just worshipped another god- the god of technology and chatting - or the God of football-then you fall asleep. You will feel bad, initially but after some time, few days you will become comfortable, and Satan will be watching - he will never strike you, he is not a fool, call Satan an accuser - you are right; call him trouble maker - you are right; call Satan a deceiver - you are right;- call him a fool you are wrong.

Satan has an advantage of age, he is very old, very old, He has seen the first humans who were created, he has seen Abraham, he has seen Moses, he has seen John the Baptist, he has seen Judas, he has lived through dispensations and he has studied mankind as an entity and he knows our vulnerability and weaknesses. He knows the spiritual wear and tear that is capable of befalling us because of our humanity.

In this year ending and beyond don't be careless with your prayer life ooh, SPIRITUAL CARELESSNESS is a dangerous thing in the realms OOH, It is even more dangerous than immorality. CARELESSNESS - gradually, you begin to lose spiritual standards, things that didn't move you at first will begin to move you now, name them - pride, anger, lust, power, men, women, titles - you are becoming the opposite of good each passing day.

And it is very subtle, one week you have not PRAYED, 3 weeks you have not prayed and you are OK... Satan will never attack you, he is not a fool, it is like a spiritual meter, and he is just allowing your spiritual battery to run low and empty. So there are some of you, you don't pray, you snore your way till morning, no morning devotion, nothing to command your day, but because you are still seeing results in your life, you think all is well. Just give it time.

Take a look at Samson, Samson slept with a prostitute immediately after that he removed the city gate, Satan kept quiet and was watching, then Delilah came into the picture, asking of his power source, and because he was already dying spiritually he could not discern that this was the woman to finish him finally because a man who is spiritually alive will have picked up signals that- behind that beauty lied the true colours of the devil that will destroy him shortly.

What happened? Now Samson was carnally minded, the scripture says to be spiritually minded is life eternal and to be carnally minded is death (Romans 8:6), and Samson died because he became carnally minded.

Many of us our lack of prayer has made us do unwise things because we don't discern things spiritually again. At first, when people annoyed you, you used to check things from the realm of the spirit but right now, you are so carnally minded that everything you wanna fight. You have been deprived physically that you respond to things sensually and that's the realm of Satan, sensuality, he operates there the most, and it is just a matter of time, once you are carnally minded, he will finish you. You can be jumping around that you are a new creation in Christ till you die as if Jesus didn't die for you...

PRAYER life... We must be spiritual people ooh. All of a sudden when you want to get serious with your prayer life, then something happens to your finances or marriage or health, and you think it is about your business, but it is because you pray too much, you were causing trouble in the realms, so they do something to your timeline. Your time for prayer will be dedicated to doing more for the business, and all of a sudden you stop praying... The devil knows that as long as there is abundance, there is now time to seek the face of the Lord, so he comes up with a system to take you away from the prayer place.

Let me give a spiritual exercise to perform- let this period of this conference be an intense period of getting closer to God- let it be a month and half of intense prayer that will launch you into deep prayer for the rest of your life. When you are teaching on spiritual warfare, or learning about spiritual warfare or engaged in spiritual warfare- it is important to be extremely prayerful because you are touching the very nerve of the spirit realms. Am giving you spiritual intelligence - don't let yourself be cheated in this season ooh. We cannot spend the rest of our lives fighting in this dimension- let's settle this issues once and for all and move on to other mysteries of the kingdom-

So let me give you a spiritual exercise to perform- will you do it? Are you sure…ok- God willingly -tomorrow I will tell you-
