PRAYER INTENTIONS

We pray for deliverance from evil. We pray for deliverance from principalities and powers.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasure of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to your holy will which is love and mercy itself. Amen

In Exodus 1, a new king who knew nothing about Joseph came to power in Egypt and then their trouble started. They cried out to God for deliverance in Exodus 2:9, by Exodus 6:6, situation got worse. But why did they want deliverance? Precisely because they were subject to a system of bondage, they were being treated like second class citizens- they were even building a city for other gods –

So the Lord said I will bring deliverance - it means that before there is a need for deliverance there must have been a system of bondage - that subjects territories both animate and inanimate to danger, oppression and slavery.

Colossians 1:13-14, will say- who has delivered us from the power of darkness not just darkness but from the power of darkness - that means darkness is a power - darkness is a force. It is very unwise to belief that all of these other spiritual forces are not powerful- we only say they are powerless relative to the superiority of God's intelligence and power in motion through the sacrifice on the cross and the mysteries of the KINGDOM OF LIGHT.

In other words- when you are contrasting darkness to God's power then Satan and his cohort are powerless- completely powerless but on its own- darkness has power-Without any comparison- to God.

But in regard to just HUMANs unassisted by God we are puppets in their hands. relative from the spiritual plane- from where these things operate - it is childish and immature to believe that they do not wield any kind of power on their own. Even a normal human being who can access the realms of the spirit of on own-is powerful - they have an advantage over one who is just limited to the physical. Any dimension you can access outside of this physical realms would provide you with an advantage -

Even lower animals - have the ability to perceive danger and perceive reality that the normal man who is unrefined cannot perceive - we see dogs, cats, other animals respond to people in a particular way - some of them have very superior - sense organs - these are creatures that are not empowered by any kind of spirit yet they have an advantage over the unrefined human- I am just buttressing on this to help you understand-- we need to allow the spirit of God to break down the truths that have been passed from generation to generation not just because a senior man of God advocated it or we were taught at Sunday school- we need understanding- because most of us do not have the understanding, we just receive it as hard knowledge.

Am telling you that - Unassisted by God-Darkness is powerful and Paul is not ashamed to tell us- in many ways in many places. Behold I give you power - Jesus will say- why do you need power? For what purposes? - Luke 10:19- Power used here, is not the Greek word dunamis, - power used here is the word authority - authorization to legislate rather than the ability by yourself. To cause change – the ability or authority to thread - behold I give you authority and nothing shall by any means harm you -

That means the only reason nothing can harm you is because you are operating from a dimension higher than the existing thing that has the ability to harm you - that means - if something is hurting you- it means you don’t have access to that higher power- that Jesus is speaking about- you do not have knowledge of that power, if you did you will have gotten rid of that thing hurting you.

The possibility to be translated from kingdom of darkness to light. Bible calls it DELIVERANCE - in whom we have redemption through the BLOOD - FORGIVENESS of SIN.

DELIVERANCE is a system for experientially ESTABLISHING the VICTORY and AUTHORITY of CHRIST- over Satan- demons and over all the powers or darkness having a field day in our lives. Deliverance is a system for experientially establishing the victory and authority of Jesus Christ- over Satan- demons and all the powers of darkness concerning our lives.

Deliverance for a believer and the scriptural approach for deliverance is much more than the activity of physical - present day FIGHT.

DELIVERANCE is not about FIGHTING- that’s where we got it wrong- you can’t fight the devil- that fight happened long ago and JESUS won. That’s the celebration you reminiscence at every Easter- there is nothing to FIGHT - victory has been won already. Deliverance is concerned with establishing or making a reality that has been finished already to become your experience here and now-

DELIVERANCE - spiritual warfare is about establishing and manifesting victory rather than fighting for it. Our approach to the subject of deliverance has to do with establishing and manifesting victory rather than FIGHTING TO CREATE IT.

This revelation alone will make all the difference to your approach in the subject of deliverance from a perspective that seeks TO ESTABLISH AND MANIFEST- VICTORY ALREADY WON THROUGH CHRIST- rather than an attempt to physically exert energy and fight and win as of it was a product of your own exertion. This may be the single reason why you have not experienced deliverance - you are not fighting for victory, victory has been won already, we are ESTABLISHING manifesting authority over darkness rather than fighting for it.

Get this-- I have always said that- the devil is fighting us- but in response you don’t fight back- YOU ESTABLISH AND MANIFEST- VICTORY ALREADY WON THROUGH CHRIST
