THE WAY OUT
2 Corinthians 4:8-11, 16-18.
“ We are often troubled, but not crushed; sometimes in doubt, but never in despair; there are many enemies, but we are never without a friend; and though badly hurt at times, we are not destroyed. At all times we carry in our mortal bodies the death of Jesus, so that his life also may be seen in our bodies. Throughout our lives, we are always in danger of death for Jesus' sake, in order that his life may be seen in this mortal body of ours. For this reason, we never become discouraged. Even though our physical being is gradually decaying, yet our spiritual being is renewed day after day. And this small and temporary trouble we suffer will bring us a tremendous and eternal glory, much greater than the trouble. For we FIX OUR ATTENTION, not on things that are SEEN, but on things that are UNSEEN. What can be seen lasts only for a time, but what cannot be seen lasts forever. ”
For we fix our attention NOT on things that are SEEN but on things that are UNSEEN. What cannot be seen - last forever.
Paul begins to teach the church in Corinth
Vrs 17 (Powerful Key)
1. There are things that are SEEN and things that are UNSEEN.
2. The character of SEEN THINGS - are temporal (Subject to change and not reliable, not dependable) it will change. Here we see the frailty of the physical realm - the unreliability of this realm- no matter how real our physical dimensions -
3. Our focus or emphasis should be on the UNSEEN, the things we cannot perceive with our physical sensory organs, and the advantage of the realm of the spirit is its ability to SUPER-IMPOSE on the physical realm and change what we know as reality here into something else.
Romans 1:20 “Ever since God created the world, his invisible qualities, both his eternal power and his divine nature, have been clearly seen; they are perceived in the things that God has made. So those people have no excuse at all! ”
Specifically, Paul asserts that human beings can easily know some things about God by looking at creation. We should look at what is visible around us in nature, what God has made, and arrive at some obvious conclusions about what is not visible.
Adding one and the other together, we should understand from nature that God has eternal power In other words, to understand the INVISIBLE things; the physical reality is to confirm the presence of the invisible realm and to help us to navigate – compass into the realm of the spirit.
Take note:
INVISIBLE THINGS = SPIRITUAL DIMENSION
VISIBLE THINGS = PHYSICAL DIMENSION
Paul is teaching us and he is saying that in your conquest to touch the realms of the spirit, you start from the physical manifestation of something – and see it’s root in the Spiritual- invisible things.
If you look at the physical reality, something made it so - so that PHYSICAL REALITY REMAINS a SLAVE to WHATEVER MADE it HAPPEN -
And whatever made the physical reality happen has its ROOT in the SPIRITUAL. It means that when an ADVANTAGE is MAINTAINED in the SPIRIT, I can MANIPULATE or RESTORE physical realities from the spirit- and literally change the state of physical things.
MANIPULATION is what evil forces use to alter physical events from the spiritual realms.
RESTORATION is using the agency of the HOLY SPIRIT to reconfigure and reverse to normalcy -what they tried manipulating.
The things that we see was made out of what cannot be seen. The things we see now were locked up in a spirit and through a technology, a system they – are reproduced in the physical realm.
Understanding this that am teaching you; is the KEY for DOMINION.
1. That Life and living are entirely spiritual - very absolutely spiritually; Jeremiah 1:4-5 “The Lord said to me, ‘I choose you before I gave you life before you were born I selected you to be a prophet to the nations .”
Romans 8:6 – “ For the mindset on the flesh is death, but the mindset on the Spirit is life and peace ”
Romans 8:9-13 – “ However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. So then, brethren, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh — for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live .”
LIFE IS BASICALLY SPIRITUAL, and the physical realm is always a slave to the spiritual realms.
