Day 2

The first way that the purposes of God are established upon a territory and also preserved is through PRAYER.

Genuine, authentic prayer is gradually becoming a lost art in the body of Christ. If we ever have a generation that laughs at prayer and takes it for granted- it is our generation and we are paying dearly for it and will continue to pay dearly for it till we become people of genuine, authentic prayer.

Our spiritual ignorance is tilting us gradually to downplay the role of prayer and intercession over setting the atmosphere and the climate of territories to allow those territories to host God. It takes prayer, genuine authentic prayer, warfare and intercession for the heavens to be opened over a territory enough for the purposes of God to be established.

Ezekiel 22:30 reads “ I searched for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, so that I would not destroy it; but I found no one .” 

God was looking for someone, just one person to stand in the gap for the land, so that -that family, that land, that situation will be resolved- but He found none. Someone that will stand in the gap for that land, it means that there were human beings- but none of them had align themselves to do spiritual business with God and stand in the gap and save the land from incoming disaster. So many things have happened to you, your family, your town, your village, your country, because humans refused to stand in the gap- they were interested in every other thing except genuine authentic prayer.

So God said-I searched for someone to stand in the gap- but I found none-the ministry of prayer, look-if we stop praying because of some kind of spiritual laziness we will be shocked at how darkness will prevail over us. It is through prayer that graces are restored and spiritual essentials are preserved in every generation - it doesn't matter whether the believer is going to be a man of God or a civil servant or a politician, the ministry of prayer must be preserved in every believer.

That is why Jesus spoke a parable in Luke 18:1 ff saying - to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint...  Not just need driven prayers alone, we must graduate from the realm of just praying about give me this or that - to taking over territories. That because of your presence and your genuine authentic prayer- the controlling powers in a territory, in a family, in a person, in a land are subdued.  That because of your steadfastness and perseverance in prayer- those powers that mould and control the mind-sets of people-the so called powers responsible for prevailing tragedies over people, over your family- over your nation are cast down- that you come into a city, or into a family and all the negative things are arrested.

That you come into a space with all sort of demonic nonsenses and you realise that you are a King, a Prophet and a Priest over that territory and part of your ministry as a priest is to take over that territory through advocacy, and you go before God and you stand face to face with the controlling powers , that's what men did in the bible... Abraham stood in for Sodom and Gomorrah and God used him to preserve the family of Lot; Joseph stood in for his family or hunger will have killed them; Moses stood in for the Israelites, and was used as the deliverer; Jesus stood in the gap and paid the price for us...

We are looking for people this 2022 and beyond who are willing, able and ready to stand in the gap. Humans who will allow themselves to be used by God to preserve the purposes of God through prayer over a family, nation, generation.

Don’t forget, what -Ephesians 6:10-19, finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil .  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armour of God, always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints that you may be able to withstand the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.

We hear of this things but most of you don’t even know what they actually mean- For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against PRINCIPALITIES, against POWERS, against THE RULERS OF THE DARKNESS of this age, against SPIRITUAL HOSTS OF WICKEDNESS in the heavenly places.

We are not doing the study of demons-Demonology but Let me quickly try to explain to you one after the other what we are dealing with- then maybe we will stop joking with our spiritual lives-

·     PRINCIPALITIES: -

this ones are responsible for influencing world leaders to behave in ways consistent with the plan of the anti-Christ- they introduce all sort of things to our leadership, so that once our leaders are under their authority- what can we the followers do, they then take over our territories, lands and geographical spaces, making sure those lands are dedicated to their cause.

 Principalities are powerful demons- they exercise control and dominate through religion, occultism, finances, politics and illicit sex and the aberration of the sexual code. These principalities are extremely wicked- these beings work closely with Satan. Bad news is they already control the world, because some of our leaders have sold our lands to them- their greatest challenge however are those who give themselves to PURITY and PRAYER.

These principalities- were angels that rebelled with Satan and were close to him since time immemorial- they now serve him and themselves- in the highest position of the evil government- as the immoral governors of our world- each of them working with the eight powers and millions of demon spirits, interfering in the affairs of our world each day and influencing our will to bring about war, disease, death, false religion, immorality, sexual pollution, backsliding- and any evil thing you can think of. And scripture says this are the ones we are fighting against - only GOD can save you from this ones-

·     THE POWERS : -

they allow and create demonic invasion into our world. They can travel back and forth to earth from the spiritual realms- to carry out their wicked assignment and duties. The plans of Satan and the principalities are carried out by the powers.

They are executive officers to the principalities- they are both transcendental and terrestrial demons- I mean they have access to both the earth and the spiritual realms- so the powers in carrying out their mandate also use both the rulers of darkness and the wicked spirits- they also use millions of servient spirits and human beings we call agents of the devil.

They destroy true humans- true humans because not everyone you see is a human spirit- we also have demon spirits that have taken human form- and they disperse spiritual and material gifts to humans who help them in their mission—this include money, sex and spiritual power- most humans who have worked in the dark kingdom for any length of time know they can obtain anything they desire from the physical world through the spiritual.
