Day 21

Proverbs 13:20 says “ He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed ”…and lead us not into temptation.

Scripture says the atmosphere that they bring into his life will produce wisdom. Meaning he who walks with fools will be led into foolishness, and become a fool. Many of us have not paid attention to our environment or associations, we paid attention to every other thing but we have refused to see that certain associations can affect us.

We have ignored the fact that association can impact us to our detriment or betterment. Some of us because of the pressure of trying to be friends with everyone kowtow to everything and say YES to everyone. Everybody hops in and out of your life as if you are a circus or a passenger bus - they hop in bringing in their respective atmospheres and writing all kinds of things upon your spirit, I want you to know that Love is a command, association-being friends is not, friendship is not by force... learn to say NO this year and beyond.

When God wants to lift a human from his /her dimensions to a greater one he sends a person or an association, when Satan wants to destroy a person, family, or a church, he also sends a person or an association.

And lead us not into temptation... Some of our folks were doing well until they met somebody, they called a friend, and that was the beginning of trouble for them. You know how those funny friends, they always know when to come around... The moment there is a breakthrough they invite themselves, because there are familiar spirits that force them to come and their entrance into that family must make sure that everything else goes wrong. Every time a breakthrough is about happening then they appear with their prophetic atmospheres of curses, yokes, negative family altars that they transfer into your space, many people just delve into atmospheres and find out that things start changing.

Have you heard people say it was when so and so came into my life that things begin to happen. Yeah certain people can come into your life and a circle of tragedies begin. You can't tell why, and the people may be innocent ooh, they are just pawns in the bigger spiritual game, but they are carrying an atmosphere that brings destruction, delay and problems wherever they appear.

Ok, Question? Remember Jonah? what did the people in the boat do against God. Did they offend him? But a man who violated the principles of God-and had a curse upon his life. Listen ooh- although he was a prophet there was a curse on his life.

He had a negative atmosphere and anyone who met him by default will be affected if the person is not spiritually GROUNDED. He went and took his negative atmosphere inside the boat, and the people in the boat lost their properties as a result- Yeah, they had to jettison some of their properties- then when that didn’t work they said to themselves- all this while we have been having peace sailing in this part, something is wrong and life is essentially spiritual- so, let's consult the spiritual by casting lots, they did and result was Jonah.

They called Jonah and asked him, my guy- Che life ina- what is this? Jonah, said it’s true, I am the one, my atmosphere has interrupted your progress, my presence in this boat, will kill you if you don’t get me out, I know you love me, but if you want peace, don't pray for me take me out of the boat.

See let me tell you eerrh, for you own sake, you need to start blocking some people, cutting associations with some people and delete them from your life. There are certain people you don't need to get close ooh, you pray for them or help them from a distance, you get into their atmosphere at your one risk...

Some of you have been praying about certain things, notice when God is about to lift you, some atmospheres come again, it is their coming that brings you back to certain things.

So there is this guy who used to sleep with you, and does all sort of nasty things with you- sexual aberrations as I call it -

now you say -you are for Christ, or you are married - you love God, and you started sensing in your spirit, what God is doing, then all of a sudden he sends a message, baby I miss you or I miss us , he just felt like he wants to talk to you, but remember life is essentially spiritual, there are forces compelling him, atmospheres compelling and pushing him to call you and take you right back to the Egypt of sexual immorality.

Be wise as serpents and be gentle as doves. - Jesus will say in Matthew 10:16. Let me ask you a question. How many of you have seen 2 snakes moving together before? 2 snakes moving- Have you ever seen that?  

You have seen 2 goats, 3 sheep, 4 cows, 2 dogs, 2 ducks…  What about snakes? Does it mean that snakes don't have a family?  When Jesus speaks listen oooh. Behold I send you forth, as sheep in the midst of wolves. Be wise as the serpents and gentle / harmless as doves .

It means we need to study the run A SHEEP, WOLVE, SERPENT & DOVE CONFERENCE, study all this animals and pick up lessons Jesus want us to learn.

Permit me to stay a little with the serpent for the purposes of this conference. Let's how it behaves; its world view; so we could be wise like it.

Wisdom keeps one from making as many mistakes- this is why it is compared to a serpent that is wise. The serpent knows how to remain quiet, focused and undetected to attain its food or escape.

Tact, prudence, discretion, caution, sagacity and calmness are the key characteristics of a serpent.  The well-known characteristics of a serpent are referred to in various scripture texts are: its gliding motion (Job 26:13), its bite and its hiding place in stone walls (Ec 10:8, 11; Am 5:19), also its being cautious (Ge 3:1)

Hence, it is necessary—just like a serpent—to keep a watchful eye on opponents, and to take stock of the situation with eyes and senses alert; to stay master of the situation without being tricked or deceiveed. May be we should run a “BE WISE LIKE A SERPENT CONFERENCE...” someday if God permits us.
