PRAYER INTENTIONS

In thanksgiving for the gift of HEALTH. You have no idea health is wealth until you get really sick. Be grateful to God for the gift of health. If there is anyone who is sick or you are sick- thank God for healing and restoration.

Remember just GIVE THANKS, no ASKING.

Our Father in Heaven, Creator of all and source of all goodness and love, please look kindly upon us and receive our heartfelt gratitude in this time of giving thanks. We thank you for all the graces and blessings, you have bestowed upon us. We thank you for the spiritual and temporal: for our faith and religious heritage. We thank you for provision of food and shelter, our health, the love we have for one another, for our family and friends. Dear Father, in Your infinite generosity, we thank you for the continued graces and blessing you have already granted us throughout the coming year. In the Name of Jesus, Your Son and our Brother we make this prayer. Amen.

WHAT SPECIFIC POWER IS IN PRAISE?

a. Praise breaks down barriers and creates openings (Ps. 114:1-End; Josh. 6:20)

b. Praise causes God to step into life’s battles and take them over (2Chron. 20:22) When you give God praise He steps in and when He steps in He takes over and when He takes over, IT IS OVER!

c. Praise imparts supernatural might and strength into the life of the saint (Neh. 8:10; Hab. 3:17-19; Prov. 24:10; Ps. 122:1, 119:164)

d. Praise enmightens and strengthens; when strength comes victory in battle is confirmed

e. Praise establishes the presence and anointing of God upon the life of the saint (2Chron. 5:13-14; Ps. 22:3; Acts 10:38; Isa. 10:27)

f. Your worship life increases the Oil on your life and the Oil on your life will scatter the yokes around your life.

g. Praise is a spiritual climate changer (2Chron. 5:13-14; Isa. 61:3) the climate of your life affects the outcome of your life. Negative, depressing climates give way for positive, motivating atmospheres by the power of praise.

h. Praise empowers the saint to possess their possession (Judg. 1:1-2) You are empowered to take delivery of what God has for you by your praise

i. Praise will give you what certificates and connections cannot give you

j. Praise introduces confusion into the camp of the enemy bringing deliverance to the saint (Acts 16:25-26; 1Sam. 16:23)

k. Praise brings down the Hand of God on the life of the saint (2Kings 3:15)

I. The Hand of God brings direction, it shows you what to do to escape the traps of the enemy

m. The Hand of God releases strength and speed for exploits (1Kings 18:46)

n. Praise unveils and unleashes potentials out of the life of the praiser (Ps. 119:164). Your potential is your vehicle to your destiny. Your potential open up your opportunities (Prov. 18:16). Your potential destroys your adversity

o. Praise puts situations and systems

under pressure to release what has been held captive (Ps. 67:5-7; Jonah 2:9-10)

HOW DO YOU PRAISE EFFECTIVELY?

i. Recognize praise as a major portion of your life’s assignment (Isa. 43:21; 1Pet. 2:9)

ii. Focus on the Lord and not on things if praise must be effective (Phil. 4:4; Hab. 3:18; Isa. 61:10)

iii. Endeavour to remember the BENEFITS of the Lord in your life (Ps. 103:1-5; Mal. 2:2) Not to forget His benefits is not to forfeit His blessings; to forget His benefits is to forfeit His blessings (Mal. 2:2) It doesn’t matter what is not working in your life, identify what is working and praise God for it.

iv. Resist the temptation of murmuring, complaining and grumbling (1Cor. 10:10) Murmuring brings struggling and collapsing.

v. Recognize that praise is your reason for living (Ps. 104:33; 119:175; 146:2)

vi. Make the Lord the target of your passion and pursuit and worship will be effortless (Ps. 42:1; 63:8)

vii. Determine to consciously and continuously acknowledge the acts of His goodness in your life, even in the face of challenges (John 6:11-12). When you acknowledge the goodness of God in the face of need, you activate more drastic dimensions of His manifestations in your life.

viii. Determine to avoid the temptation of accusing God for the challenges of life (Job 1:22) GOD is the help of your life, so If you make the Help of your life to become the enemy of your soul you die in helplessness
