"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus" - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

PRAYER

Thank God for the gift of your immediate family of Origin, your nuclear family.

And if there are some issues in your family of origin, thank God for taking care of them already.

Remember just GIVE THANKS, no ASKING.

Our Father in Heaven, Creator of all and source of all goodness and love, please look kindly upon us and receive our heartfelt gratitude in this time of giving thanks. We thank you for all the graces and blessings, you have bestowed upon us. We thank you for the spiritual and temporal: for our faith and religious heritage. We thank you for provision of food and shelter, our health, the love we have for one another, for our family and friends.

Dear Father, in Your infinite generosity, we thank you for the continued graces and blessing you have already granted us throughout the coming year. In the Name of Jesus, Your Son and our Brother we pray. Amen.

INTRODUCTION TO THE CONFERENCE

We are told in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. “Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.”

After completing the IT IS FINISHED- the implications spiritually is that God has answered ALL our Prayers in complete Victory, I know someone of you are waiting for this answered prayers in the spiritual realms to find expression in your physical dimensions- but the doesn't take away the truth that prayers have been answered.

For this reason, in this "PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING" (CONFERENCE) We are now operating from a place of Receiving Victory in all areas of our lives, in all situations, even when we have not achieved the expected outcomes of our prayers because God does not work with Scoreboards which reflect external results or trophies.

My dear friends, It is not always easy to give thanks, but this is the very thing we must do in order to see God's will accomplished in our lives. This is how we move into higher realms of faith for ourselves, for our families, for our city, and for our nation. Thanksgiving has great power to bring joy and break the power of the enemy.

Whenever you give thanks to God, despite the difficult circumstances you face, the enemy loses a big battle in your life. When you give thanks in the midst of difficulty, you bring pleasure to God's heart. He is looking for Christians who live in a realm of praise and thanksgiving where the enemy no longer has an ability to hold or manipulate that person.

Satan is defeated when we have a thankful heart because thankfulness during difficulty is a SACRIFICE pleasing to God. Are you thankful? Are you thankful for your present circumstances? Are you thankful for your salvation, your family, your life, your friendships, and everything else? Thankfulness is a key to catapult you into your manual. It is the key that turns your situation around because it changes you, your outlook, and your attitude. There is power in a thankful heart.

Before we box on let's consider the rules of engagement for this conference. The Spiritual Rule for this conference is simple: DO NOT ASK FOR Anything, JUST GIVE THANKS.

We are used to this kind of prayers; “Lord give me, this, God give me THAT, I need this, I need that, etc.” This coming days, we ain’t taking none of that- give me that, give me this requests, just say thank you Lord. That’s all, you are required to do.

So in the coming days, the Holy Spirit will be using my voice to teach you about the power of THANKSGIVING, DANCE and PRAISE. As I always tell you we are doing spiritual capacity building and I have been tasked by the Lord Jesus Christ to teach you how to effectively use the power of THANKSGIVING and PRAISE as a key to bring down the spiritual realities that you desire into your physical dimensions.

You see, when you pray, thank you God, thank you Jesus or thank you Holy Spirit, it is very powerful because it tells God that- you TRUST him so much that He will grant your request because you are already thanking him for answering your prayers. For example; if you are praying for a Job, STOP asking God to help you find a job, start thanking God for already granting you a job, if you are praying for a baby, STOP asking God to give you one, start thanking God for blessing you with a baby already, etc. By praying like this you put Satan in total confusion and extol our heavenly Father who is always answering all our prayers.

INSTEAD OF ASKING, START THANKING. Believe in your Heart that God knows your problems better than you do; and start thanking him daily for solutions. There are so many testimonies happening to people who pray “Thank You” prayers; many more people will be receiving great favours. Every time you give genuine thanksgiving - fresh oil for fresh impact comes on you. You never run dry with constant thanksgiving. When you thank God, you glorify and honour His name, and He will save you-

In Psalm 50:23, the Lord says "Giving thanks, is the sacrifice that honours me, and I will surely save all who obey me "

Thanksgiving has the power to bring encouragement to the testifier and helps to build more confidence in God. Thanksgiving brings edification to the hearers. It builds up the faith of others. God is not a respecter of persons. What God did for someone, He can do for others. Thanksgiving qualifies you for another act of favour from God.

You should also know that one of the dimensions of thanksgiving is giving Testimonies. So we will be sharing a lot of testimonies here to the Glory of God. Testimony commits God to do more. It propels the testifier and the hearer to a great height and believe in God. Strength and courage is released, when you thank God.

Thanksgiving brings incredible multiplication. It is one thing to have addition; it is a greater thing to have multiplication (John 6:5-13). The five loaves of bread and two fishes multiplied in the hands of Jesus after He gave THANKS to GOD. Five thousand people were fed and there were about 12, 000 baskets left over (John 6:11&13). Nothing is little in the hands of a thanks giver, because God will cause an increase.

Thanksgiving turns healing to wholeness. In Luke 17:11-19, 10 lepers cried out to Jesus asking for mercy and He healed them, but only one out of them returned to thank Him. Jesus said to him in v.19, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. Wholeness is complete health. As you praise and thank God, may you experience His wholeness in Jesus name.

Thanksgiving brings incredible restoration. In John 11:41, Jesus gave thanks and Lazarus rose from the dead. As you give thanks, every opportunity that was dead in your life will be restored in Jesus name.

Thanksgiving brings total deliverance, it makes deliverance complete.. Psalms 50:14-15, “Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High. And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.”

Whenever thanksgiving rises up to God, He is stirred into action to perform a miracle. Be a THANKS GIVER because THANKSGIVING releases ENORMOUS POWER of GOD to do WONDERS in your LIFE.

Gratitude is a spiritual force that empowers you to scale to higher heights. When you are a grateful-thankful Christian, powerful supernatural forces from heaven are unleashed that cause things to work for you the way they should.

Thanksgiving provokes the blessings of God upon your life. In 2 Chronicles 1:6-15, Solomon offered unto God a thousand burnt offering and went to bed. He got Divine visitation; he got a blank cheque from God; he got divine overflow – more than he asked for and he got divine overwhelming prosperity – silver became like stones.

Thanksgiving brings down the glory of God. In 2 Chronicles 5:13-14, when high praises and thanksgiving was rendered to God, His glory filled His house and the priests could not stand. Sickness, disease, sorrow and demons cannot stand, as you give God thanks in Jesus Name. Thanksgiving precedes a new era, a new beginning. If you want a new era of miracles, signs and wonders, then begin with thanksgiving (Luke 22:19-20).

It is time to begin to give thanks, to dance and praise the Lord, will you join in- your choice, as for me am on route the Highway thanksgiving.
