INTENTION - Ask for God's Mercy.

PRAYER

Jesus – I consecrate my entire life from this day on to you without reserve- into your hands I abandon my past, my present and my future, from this day forward- make me a true follower of your teachings, let your Divine Mercy protect my home and my family from all the powers of evil- may all who trust in your mercy never perish- may your mercy be their joy in life- their hope in death and their glory in eternity - AMEN .

INTRODUCTION TO GRACE AND FAVOUR CONFERENCE-1

“ I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. ” –3 John 1:2 (NKJV)

After Easter Sunday what next? Grace and favour abounds. The possibilities of the kingdom are only dependent on the truths that we act upon- it is not dependent on God alone. God's desire can be helplessly sabotaged by our inability to understand his systems.

Psalms 102:13- “ You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favour her, yes, the set time, has come. ”

Grace is favour, the free and undeserved help that God gives us to respond to his call to become children of God, adoptive sons, partakers of the divine nature and of eternal life. Favour is an unmerited assistance because it elevates the unqualified.

When God is set to favour a person , He uses anything to help the person so that even his/her enemies would have blessed him/her before they comprehend.

As a matter of fact, when a human enjoys God’s favour, his/her background or status wouldn’t matter. Everything including his/her name, peculiarity, complexion, height and even his/her mistakes will begin to work to his/her advantage. For example, Esther was the least qualified among the virgins, but she found favour in the sight of the king so that she was crowned as Queen instead of Vashti (Esther 2:15-20). Similarly, do you know that it was favour that placed Jacob above Esau? (Genesis 25:29-34).

Hear me when I tell you that a man's success is directly dependent on favour. We come from all sort of backgrounds that by default should keep us failures- forever- and if you want to work based on human strength, time will whoosh pass you, sometimes your lifetime cannot remedy the catastrophe’s that are associated with the backgrounds that you come from. By your own strength, it will take you decades to be able to correct the mistakes that have been made to grant you a chance to experience the reality of the “ good life .”

As a result, God programmed systems in his dealings with humans where we can rise out of the limitations that are associated with our backgrounds, pain, mistakes, and prosper in the land of the living.

Favour & Grace is what brings PROSPERITY and when am talking about prosperity, please broaden your mind…. If you’re ready to live the life God desires you to have, it’s important to understand whole-system of prosperity. So what is PROSPERITY- it refers to Well-being, Success, Abundance, Overflow. These are all words similar in meaning to PROSPERITY.

And despite everything else you might have heard - PROSPERITY is God’s will for YOU. Have you ever noticed that the Scriptures don’t say God will give you just enough to get by? Instead, the Bible uses words like overflow, plentiful and abundance. God wants to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we can even ask or think (Ephesians 3:19-21), and He tells us that His only plans for us are success (Jeremiah 29:11). That’s a prosperous life!

God wants to bless us with whole-system of prosperity, to establish His covenant with us, give us life more abundantly, and empower us to bless others and further the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The idea that God wants His people sick, sad or living in poverty is completely against His Word and His very nature. God isn’t opposed to our being rich. That doesn’t upset Him even a little. In fact, He delights in our prosperity (Psalm 35:27). He’s just opposed to our becoming covetous and greedy.

God has a full supply, lacking nothing, and He wants us to be the same way. If you’re ready to live the life He desires you to have, it’s important to first understand how to get there.

PROSPERITY IS MORE THAN FINANCES

“ I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers .” –3 John 1:2 (NKJV)

Whenever someone mentions “ the prosperity gospel ,” most often they are referring to money only, but that isn’t all Jesus had in mind. It is the will of God for us to be made whole and prosper in —spirit, soul and body—and to be kept that way until the return of our Lord Jesus Christ (see 1 Thessalonians 5:23).

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN WHOLE-SYSTEM OF PROSPERITY?

1. Spiritual Prosperity.

To prosper spiritually means your spiritual life is sound and stable. You have taken your spiritual growth serious, prayer has become a daily thing, you try to do the will of God, you study the word, and you go where the saints are gathered for fellowship. When you accept Jesus as your Saviour and make Him the Lord of your life, your spirit is reborn and brought into fellowship with the Father, Almighty God.

2. Emotional Prosperity.

This is when you emotions are sound, stable and under control. In order words you are able to regulate and control your emotions. You do not allow your emotions to lead you to places and things which are inimical to your progress.

True peace and joy cannot be found in this world without Christ. That’s why we see people getting into a lot of vices, remarrying over and over, using antidepressants, contemplating suicide, tearing other people down, using drugs or even questioning their God-given gender. That is not the abundant life Jesus came to give us, Jesus fills the voids: He brings answers where there were questions, confidence where there was insecurity, and hope where there was once hopelessness.

3. Mental Prosperity.

The world thinks of mental prosperity as simply “ knowing it all, ” but God had something much better in mind. Mental prosperity includes revelatory knowledge, mental abilities beyond our own, and a sharp mind until the day we go home to heaven. It means casting down imaginations, strongholds and being in control of your own thoughts. It also includes the constant renewal of mind.

4. Physical Prosperity.

The world’s system of healing can sometimes make a god of the hospital and a god of medicine. Actually, for the most part, it leaves God out entirely, and without God, it will not work! God has a better way. He wants you to walk in supernatural and divine health all the days of your life. Physical prosperity is being free from sickness and infirmity, to the extent that even if you fall ill, your body recovers quickly.

5. Relational Prosperity.

Only God can truly prosper you in the area of relationships. He is the giver of good and perfect gifts. He can bring reconciliation where the world would say all hope is lost, and He can grant you a strong and lasting marriage, and healthy family relationships and friendships. There is a special peace in relational prosperity. He wants you to have it.

6. Accomplishment Prosperity.

In other words—favour. When you have favour, it opens doors for you and causes things to go your way—even when, in the natural, it may not seem possible. When you succeed at something, you prosper. The ability to start and finish successfully whatever you lay your hands on. God desires us to have success in life!

7. Financial Prosperity.

We are to prosper so that we might provide abundantly for our own families, bless those around us, and fund the work of the kingdom of God here on earth.

So when you are praying, that God should prosper you, be specific about your prayers- what kind of prosperity are you seeking after?

Moving on- My people we live in a wicked world, negative things sell, negative news sell. We make billions out of conflict - if they tell you this man is happy this morning, that doesn't sell. If they say he donated beds to a hospital, OK that's fine.

But If they say exposed, caught red handed- that one sells quick. We live in a world where our economy runs on a lot of negativities. As Africans for some reasons the continent has programmed us by default to struggle with success. So when a young man or woman who makes it, we as a people become suspicious, because we struggle with success. People will begin to ask, where did you go? What did you do? We are generally not excited and happy when people are making it, because we struggle with success.

It’s about time we tap into a higher power, you do not need to struggle on your own. Beloved, if you do a proper check, you’ll discover that if not for God’s grace and favour, you probably might have been wasted (Ephesians 2:8-9). Consequently, maybe you have been toiling for the jobs, visas, scholarships, contracts or marital, business and ministerial open doors.

All you need is that FAVOUR from the THRONE of GRACE , however it doesn’t end there, you must know what to do to activate this favour that has been released into your life.

Moreover, looking at our Scripture today, you’ll realise that “ MERCY precedes FAVOUR ”. Meaning that to bask in God’s favour, you primarily need His MERCY. Everything we are looking for- name them; favour, breakthroughs, miracles, blessings, answered prayers etc- they are all in the MERCY of GOD .

Spiritual equations are very accurate and you must follow them with digital precision to achieve the DESIRABLE spiritual results. Therefore, if there are 3 things you should pray for in this fast-moving year, it should be for MERCY, GRACE, and FAVOUR. Because “ A life without this trio, is full of aimless struggles .”
