PRAYER INTENTION

MERCY of GOD for Divine Speed and performance

I have a good news for you- when a law enforcement agent comes- he knows the law- he knows how to apply it to secure your liberty. The engineering of ALTARS - prayer- they are a crucial part of the solution-if you are here today and it’s because of things you have done or didn't do- because- Satan is a legalist- In the Bible, Satan is referred to as the " accuser of the brethren ". This is because he seeks to uphold his influence among men by bringing false charges against Christians, with the view of weakening their influence and injuring the cause with which they are identified.  The phrase is found in Revelation 12:9-11- “ And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night .”

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Scripture says He is the accuser of the brethren, he accuses them before God, Day and night. He wants you to use your hand to open the door that will empower him, you need to be serious to toss him out- and the only way to toss him out is with the BLOOD of JESUS active on your altar and if you toss him out- you must make sure you are filled with God’s Spirit everyday-keeping your altar alive.

Now let’s pray a short but powerful prayer point- the prayer point is this- ask God to stretch his hands over your family and if there is anything that gives Satan advantage- ask God to touch it- if you are wise, you will use this moment judiciously.

Before I delve deeper into how to keep your altar alive, I need to bring you up to speed on your dominion as a man as a woman. So lets do a detour down that path and then we will circle right back. In Genesis 1: 26-“ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth .”

We will need to take inventory of the scope of authority of humans- humans are creatures of dominion , if you do not know am telling you- that humans are creatures of dominion. What is the meaning of the word DOMINION- the root word used in this text is- RADAH- and radah means: to have dominion, rule, to dominate. - Radah is what nations have- in keeping with their sovereignty- a nation has radah – that’s what makes it sovereign- it is a sovereign political entity- 

So what God was offering man in the above text was sovereignty.  Let me explain because Ghana is a Sovereign nation for instance- if you are not a Ghanaian citizen and you want to come to Ghana, your entry will be negotiated at the embassy of Ghana in your locality, because the sovereignty of Ghana does not cover you-so if you want to access the territory of Ghana you will have to negotiate with the Ghana embassy where you are, and explain why they should grant you access to Ghana. Hold on to this- we will come back to it in a bit.

Let us now investigate the scope of authority that was given to human- let us make man after our own image- likeness and - so that’s design- the second issue to be checked is the scope of authority given to man- let them have dominion over- aquatic life, over the earth, over the atmosphere- air

• Aquatic dominance- by the time we begin to investigate you will see that some peoples challenge is from the aquatic realms

• Atmospheric dominance- others from the atmospheric realm

• Terrestrial realm- others from the land. 

Because you and I, are created in the image of God- it is only the one who designed you who can tell you if you are functioning well. In Luke 9:1, Jesus gave power and authority to his disciples as he sent them out to preach. He gave them the capacity to represent him and to cure diseases and cast out devils. He gave them some sending capacity to represent him and two (2) things he made available to them are power and authority-  Genesis speaks about the scope of authority man has- remember the 3 levels- don’t forget- now Jesus wanted to bring the influence of the Kingdom of God on the cities and  towns, and he invited the 12 to him- he gave them power and authority and the message he asked them to preach was simple the kingdom of God is at hand. As for our generation we are so earthly conscious that when we preach today, it is mostly about economic empowerment and success, that’s the golden message – it’s like the ultimate revelation- you will not believe that if we go to the book of the acts of the apostles- Jesus had resurrected from the dead- and the time interval from his resurrection to bodily ascension was 40 days- and he had just 40 days to recalibrate the apostles- 40 days to update the apostles, instruct them and bring them into alignment- so that they will know the meaning of the kingdom business he was bequeathing to them- that sounds like he was constrained with them- all this 40 days the only – thing he preached was alignment – alignment to the Kingdom of God- 

He never emphasized prosperity because prosperity- is a symptom of alignment to God- it is not a message- that’s why - Psalm 1:1-3 “ Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. ”

 Prosperity is the consequence of alignment-it is one of the indicators that reveal that I am aligned-

Look if your own prosperity was not gotten by alignment with the principles of the kingdom of God- it will have symptoms that suggest that your own is false prosperity- and if your prosperity takes you away from God-if your marriage, church, friends, work, travel, money, health, children, education, etc all these are examples of prosperity- if your prosperity takes you away from God- so that God becomes second place- it is not accurate prosperity- Jesus did not preach success- the only thing he preached about was the kingdom of God and fruitfulness- so that’s the crux of the issue- that Jesus came to pioneer on earth- he came to pioneer this – seek ye first the kingdom of God – then you will now see that prosperity becomes a consequence- Matthew 6:33-“ But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you ”.

 If you start  seeking prosperity your soul will be possessed by a spirit called mammon. Now I have even drifted away from the subject of dominion- we will continue tomorrow.
