Anxiety
My main idea that drove this piece was the feeling of anxiety and how it can gloom over you and suffocate you. I chose to make a glooming monster over the anxious, unhappy face to help further represent anxiety and how it feels. I also chose to show the feeling of anxiety through facial expressions like the wrinkled forehead, frown, and furrowed eyebrows. I used neon green paint for my background and black acrylic pant/ paint markers to create the anxiety monster. For the face I used pencil and paint markers. the process I use for this work was a little different then my previous ones because I chose the do the face on my original paper instead of doing it on a separate piece of paper. I also decided to do the monster in the background and I had to work around the face which took longer.
