Artist Statement

Live Figures

The main idea that I wanted to show in this project was lines, I didn't really want anything colored in which is why I tried to fill in most of the space with lines and shapes. I really wanted to keep the figures I drew in just black pen to keep them simple and then I filled the gaps with shapes in color. For this work I used pencil, black pen, and colorful sharpie. The process I used to create this project was kinda difficult because I had to find live figures to draw and it was hard to find all ten so I didn't do that many.
