BIRTH
Barnaby Swan was christened in Throwley on 1 June 1583. He was the last of five Swans baptized in the church around that time, none of whose parents are named! The others are:
- john Swan - 24 Aug, 1572
- Barbara Swan - 11 July, 1574
- Edward Swan - Dec 31, 1576
- Thomas Swan - 25 Jan, 1578
Aside from Barnaby, they appear at two year intervals - which suggests they have the same mother.
FIRST MARRIAGE
Barnaby married Thomazin Dane on 2 Jul 1614 in Stalisfield, Kent. Their children are:
- Jane Swan chrs. on 22 Nov 1614 & buried on 27 Nov 1614 in Westwell, Kent, England.
- John Swan christened on 11 Aug 1616 in Westwell
- Elizabeth Swan christened on 5 Feb 1617 in Westwell
SECOND MARRIAGE
Barnaby married Joan Hubbard on 11 Oct 1619 in Stalisfield, Their children:

- Barbara Swan christened on 29 Mar 1624 in Westwell
- Mildred Swan was christened on 5 Nov 1626 in Westwell
- Thomas Swan was christened on 16 Nov 1628 in Westwell, Kent, England. He died in Apr 1697 in Westwell, Kent, married Mary Spicer on 10 Oct 1680 in Eastling, and was buried on 11 Apr 1697 in Westwell.
- William Swan was born c1630 in Throwley
