CHILHOOD
Ann was christened in Thurnham on 10 Jan, 1629/30. She was the youngest of John and Elizabeth Spice's seven children and may have been the only girl still at home when her mother died in 1650. She appears to have remained to look after her father.
MARRIAGE
Two months after her father's death, Ann Spice married Robert Dancy in Thurnham on 6 Nov 1662. The two appear to have resided in Hartlip for a couple of years, before moving to Hollingbourne.
When her uncle Richard Spice died in 1675, he left 5 pounds to "my kindswoman the wife of Dance."
Ann received another inheritance in 1692, when her brother John Spice died and left "my sister Ann, the wife of Robertt Dancey" four pounds. He also left inheritances for her daughters, Elisabeth and Ann Dancey.
Ann was buried in Hollingbourne on 4 Jan, 1693.
