Henry was the first Craft known to have lived in Challock parish. He most likely came from the neighbouring parish of Stalisfield, where a number of Crafts left wills. I suspect he may be the son of the Henry Crofte who died in Stalisfield during 1547, but have not yet seen that document.
Henry Craft appears to have been born about 1520 and would have married Jone by 1545.
He was buried in Challock parish on Jan 23, 1564/65.
His wife Jone was buried in Challock on Mar 23 Mar 1587/8.
