William Packe was born around 1450, and most likely closely related to, possibly the son of, the Ralph Pak of East Barming left a will 1465

His will written ad proved 1506 ( HL film 188782 Rochester Consistory Court Probate: William Packe, East Barming, Kent, England, Registered Will DRb/PWr/6.126, mentions his wife Jane, a number of unnamed children and "my son William." There are also references to parcels of land, mostly in Barming, and "at the Elme in."

• Thomas Pak? - A Thomas Pak is mentioned, in connection with land, in young William's will. Is he a brother? From Thomas Hendle's Book U1044/F1: Maidstone Piece of land (1a.) lying without boundary in the east part of a piece of land belonging to Thomas Pack called Hellye Field, purchased of the said Thomas Pack, 1552 (p.77)
