ORIGINS
The Sexton family does not appear to have been in Tunbridge, when Henry was born around 1545.
This raised the question of whether is related to, or the son of, Richarde Sexten, who died 9 miles away in during Wateringbury.
TUNBRIDGE
Henry Sexten was in Tunbridge from the 1590s until his death in 1615. .
An entry from the West Kent Quartly Session of 25 Nov 1596 ( QM/SI/1597/1/23) pertains to his house being burgled: "John Denman of Tonbridge, labourer, for burgling the house of Henry Sexten at Tonbridge and taking 60 Ibs. butter worth 20s. , 10 Ibs. of beef worth 12d. , 6 Ibs. suet worth 10d." [Not guilty]
Henry Sexten of Tunbridge's will was proved in 1615.
PROPOSED DAUGHTER:
Could he be the father of Elizabeth Sexton, born about 1570, who married John Pack in Tunbridge, on 13 Jan 1594
