Bearded sea-folk are the spawn of Besmira, the Mother of Monsters, and her consort. Of her many types of children the bearded sea folk are the most human. While they are born in the sea they breath air and swim only passingly. As a result most take to the land and are then commonly seen on land.

Beastmaster: Bearded sea-folks have a spiritual kinship with monsters from the deeps, capturing them for sport or living and hunting with them. Bearded sea folk gain a +2 racial bonus on Handle Animal checks.
Intimidating: Bearded sea-folks receive a +2 racial bonus on Intimidate checks due to their fearsome nature.
Skilled Craftsmen: sea-folk have been raised to highly prize items they can craft themselves and this results in an eye for fine craftsmanship. They have a racial +2 to appraising, and to craft skills.
Heart of the Sea: Bearded sea-folk are always drawn to the sea. They gain a +2 racial bonus on Profession (sailor) and Swim checks, and these are always class skills for them. They can hold their breath twice as long as normal, and spellcasters gain a +4 racial bonus on concentration checks when attempting to cast spells underwater.
Offensive Traits
Rage: Sea-folk have a issue with their temper. They can rage a number of rounds equal to their Con bonus each day. If they take the barbarian class they instead suffer fatigue for only one round after rage ends.
Ferocity: When a bearded sea-folk is brought below 0 hit points they can fight on as disabled.
Weapon Familiarity: Bearded sea-folks are proficient with longspear, and trident and treat harpoons, and nets as martial weapons.
