Wedding

• • Ceremony led by master of temple.

  • Qimae - It is with pleasure that at the Jade Emperor’s bequest I am allowed to announce that you have been pronounced first ancestor (shǐ zǔ). Your clan will be known as Kim and you are to be the Spiritual head of Kim clan with all the benefits this may entail.

  • Arcas - as Closest descendant and bearer of the master sword it is your charge to develop what will be known as the Kim school of fighting. But it is also with great honor that we gather here today to see these heros form an unbreakable bond with members of our community. As many of you know when an ancient ancestor raged out of control Arcas here offered himself to protect his love, Zhizhen from harm. Having shown his dedication to the principles of protection and devotion we have decide to waive the normal one year waiting period normally enforced before a marriage of a lady of the high blood.

  • Cao Shu Fang do accept his offer of matrimony on behalf of your daughter Zizhen? “Yes, with the understanding that she will run his household and make her own decisions as to its affairs when he is not around - given his intent to travel shortly.”

  • Qimae as Arcas’s proxy do you accept this arrangement.

  • Arcas do you accept the hand of Zhizhen in front of the ancestors gathered here today?

  • Zhizhen and arcas would you please step forward and take one anothers hands. It is with great pleasure that I join your trees into one and announce that all children from this union will be of arcas’s line

Recognition Ceremony

• • All - Ladys and gentlemen we are gathered here today to give thanks to heros who came from nowhere to save our town from perhaps the greatest threst we have ever known. And yet unlike many heros they survived to save us yet again. We owe them more than we can say and it is for their heroism we wish to name this plaza Savior square. It is too you that we give the deed to the temple here in Savior square in the hope that you will return here and help protect us in the future as you have aided us in the past..

  • (unveil statues all crafted from wood and then bronzed) Karsa shield raised. Arcas hands crackling Seldion slipping out from behind the others a tome tucked under one arm and Ariel holding forth a glowing torch that light the square with its brilliance.

  • (Harvy Pence walks up and casts a spell. Among the others in a spot that you didn’t notice before there is now a semitranslucent image of Qimae dressed in full plate and wielding a glowing twohanded weapon made of crackling energy. *harvy shrugs and says ‘I took some liberties’)

Speeches

  • Arcas - Living disciple of Kim clan and bearer of the master sword.

  • Seldion - School, Dragonrider. As your fathers friend I see the same quick wit and nimble fingers. As well as a certain infamous lack of caution.

  • Karsa - earth brother. Stalwart defender and arm of justice.

  • Ariel - Lightbringer. Mysterious protector.

Statues of party

  • Academy creates permanent illusion of Qimae instead of statue.

  • Party given Temple of Razmir to use however they see fit.

Shel goodbye

• • Gift for Qimae is Prism of sustenance - cursed - clear (no hunger but no sustenance)

Dragon turtle (hirgenzogsk)

• • Captain Blackhardt Mabon the destroyer and his ship the Hergennaut.

  • Dragon still learning magic. Asks about base assumptions that Seldion has.

Ghost ship

• • Sighted 3 times

  • Sails against teh wind and can submerge

  • Almost unlimited number of brine wretches swarm the deck.

  • Captain of Ghost ship is a 6th level breath stealer with ability to drown at range and wielding a javalin of seeking.

  • Brine wretched taste horrid and are heavily flame resistant.

Deep waters

• • Meet Besmira the Titan of deep waters

  • Welcomed as her guest for purposes of negotiating a change to the old covenant

  • Karsa was welcomed by the assorted underwater life with open arms and more. Qimae watched with a mix of amusement but kept an eye on Arcas and kept him from straying from her side. Karsa collected a pile of gifts for his services.

  • Party negotiated a deathship and safe passage to the island in return for Besmira being able to leave the deeps on the full moon for a period of 100 years. She would be allowed to collect a toll of personal worth from ships in return for safe passage but ships in harbor or fresh water were to remain outside her domain. She would not be allowed to demand any act that was non good.

  • Seldion negotiated a purification of his non-elf nature. Besmira would get his mortal essence to use in her shapings in return for restoring his to full elvin heritage but freewilled and unbound by any being. This makes him the first elf to walk the earth in hundreds of years. He is taller gaunter and has become magically augemented. Learns how to veil and jump at will abilities lost to the elvin race after having been too diluted by mortal blood. He no longer needs to sleep as elves were originally guardiens of the Dreaming.
