======== Wyrmheart Mine ========
Glamour volunteers information such as that the Great Everburning Furnace Tzindahar is home but exhausted from flying for 6 days straight and that there are many more Kobolds in the mine from two distinct tribes. Having found a kobold with better than average common as well as a decent knowledge of the mine and artistic talents the party convince Glamour to draw them a map of the mine and she does a great job of identifying the different factions in the mine as well as the fact that the "Urds" are unlikely to grant safe passage as they have real working wings and love nothing more than pushing folks off into the shaft to fall hundreds of feet to their deaths.
This causes Eddie and Lindal to come up with a plan. Eddie casts an illusion of a kobold carrying a cake trying to sneak past the Urd's lair to lure the Urds out to be ambushed. But Lindal notices a large rock trap that would make a huge amount of noise if it goes off and so Lindal goes ahead to disarm the trap. And Lindal badly fumbles his hide check kicking pebbles down the tracks that goes all the way to the Urd guard whom goes "lucky pebble for collection" wandering off to put it with an assortment of similar such rocks. Proving that the guards stationed halfway down the shaft are not the most alert - mostly watching to bully other kobolds. Eddie's illusion does lure out the kobold whom is quickly dispatched by Eddie throwing fireballs torching all but the Urd sorcerers and the group is able to destroy them swiftly freeing the group to travel down and fight the dragon. Plans are made and an invisible Lindal is sent to scout. Muttering prayers under his breath as he single handedly sneaks into the dragon shrine. (He had been having crap stealth luck all day). Lindal succeeds only by the skin of his teeth the dragon mutters something in its sleep as if he smells humanoids in its dreams but just barely couldn't awaken.
A two prong approach is chosen. Lindal and the NPCs going in from the ground floor while Celadon, and Freya use the cape of the mountebank to magically portal in to pin the dragon down and get a massive surprise attack. Celadon opens up the attack by casting glitterdust on the dragon which becomes useful later while Eddie and Undril dart in and out and toss spells while trying to stay out of sight as much as possible. The dragon - woken rudely from its slumber roars and tries to move to torch the main party but Freya uses her quick reflexes to spike its tail in place preventing it from moving away and instead Freya and Kylorin get hit with an epic blast of fire. Freya - magically shielded by Undril's fire resistance spell - still takes grievous injuries while Kylorin is shielded by a magic bubble Eddie coaxed forth from her shield to protect her from the fire that otherwise would have certainly would have possibly killed her outright.
Lindal darts in and out but soon finds invisibility and even stealth help him naught at all as the dragon sees his every move. Even Seraph gets into the action blasting the dragon with acid and ice.
The dragon takes another deep breath but this time uses it to try to clear a path out of the deathtrap it finds itself in. It burns Hew Hackenstone badly and instantly drops Lindal, Rivermist, as well as Kylorin's horse. Celadon heals Lindal before his could slips away to death's door but the dragon flees and moments later is standing right on top of Lindal and about to act. Eddie throws himself from the balcony bashing his shin badly and sprints to his friend's side to save Lindal from a gruesome death and in a wave of thunderous noise he blasts Lindal and himself back up to the balcony while Freya and Kylorin deal the final blows to the dragon.
======== Miles to go before you sleep ========
Hew and Freya have a touching scene where he thanks her for having his back even when his own kind gave up on him.
But the scene with is interrupted by Miles f***ing Breakbone who proceeds to revive the mother f***ing dragon which proceeds to gleefully tear into the party a second time as if happy to get revenge. Hew is hew apart, Freya drops, Lindal has to use hit and run. All stops are pulled out but zombie dragons are luckily less terrifying than the Red dragons was especially when a paladin has several smites to soften up the foul creature. River Mist/Breakbown is dropped first and the dragon soon follows and while it was touch and go for a while no one other than Hew and Rivermist died in the extensive battle. The exhausted band summon a bubble of force and procede to rest because they are completely and utterly tapped out.

"Hew" - Hew Hackenstone's Grandpappy's +1 Greataxe that deals an additional 1d12 damage when the wielder hits a plant creature or an object made of wood. Also on crit against plant creatures and wooden objects the dice damage is maximized rather than rolled. The axe’s creator was a dwarf smith who long feuded with the dryads of a elven forest where he cut firewood. Whoever carries the axe feels uneasy whenever he or she travels through a forest because the mad dryad whose tree was made into the shaft is driven to pursue it whenever it is in shade made by a natural canopy.
Potion of Greater Healing - You regain 4d4 + 4 hit points when you drink this potion. The potion's red liquid glimmers when agitated.
Horn of blasting - Golden Chultan Herald horn inlaid with jade. You can use an action to speak the horn's Command word and then blow the horn, which emits a thunderous blast in a 30-foot cone that is audible 600 feet away. Each creature in the cone must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 5d6 thunder damage and is Deafened for 1 minute. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and isn't Deafened. Creatures and Objects made of glass or Crystal have disadvantage on the saving throw and take 10d6 thunder damage instead of 5d6. Each use of the horn's magic has a 20 percent chance of causing the horn to explode. The explosion deals 10d6 fire damage to the blower and destroys the horn.
