The group explores a wing of the dungeon labeled the "reformatory" and sees signs warning that area is off limits to all but the keep commander. Beyond a short hall is a barred door and beyond that is a pristine hallway and the party sees no sign of life. They joke that there must be a gelatinous cube keeping the place clean. The group goes around the corner before Freya in the back is swept up in a shimmering wall of slime. Eddie turns and says "Hey Freya I am gonna take the light spell back to cast around this corner" but he sees the shimmering wall in the light and realizes what it means. Freya is paralyzed and can do nothing but crudely attempt to break free. The group, their retreat now cut off, backs into a room with several sarcophagi only to have them burst open and beings of corruption hurl masses of profound wrongness at the party. When the party closes up with the corpses the wrongness makes it hard to fight.
The battle is long and hard. The party's radiant damage helps stop the corruption corpses from regenerating. Meanwhile the wall of acid is just able to sweep up anyone that gets too near. the party does use this to destroy one of the corrupted child corpses and then finds that the is the burial place of the immaculate succubus and her children. The succubus had a hand made holy symbol that was profoundly well detailed. And one of the non corrupted children had a dragon symbol necklace in the same style.
The party transferred the immaculate succubus to the shrine and prayed for her. The group then retreated to the hidden armory and rested.
The party earned 750 xp (150 each => 3281 cumulative) and the following gear:
