Giera - (Catherine) Albienne rogue. Physically skilled two weapon fighter who favors finesse over power. Her family has many members working civic and administrative positions so she knows people in a lot of government agencies. An uptight individual from a long line of uptight individuals, her teenage rebellion consisted of hanging out with the bad kids, acquiring proof of their waywardness, and turning them in to the relevant authority. A law enforcement career had always seemed in the cards, but when she was ready to join the police force her father, also a cop, convinced her she could do more at the Ministry.
Claudia - (Jerrod) Diminutive women who claims to be gnomish. Jumped a ship to Helen and has been been busy exploring ever since. Inquisitive, cheerful, and prone bursts of positive energy. Literally radiates energy that destroys emanations.
Thedosius - (Sean) Albienne paladin. A proud, noble, upstanding orthodox Albienne, Theodosius was dishonorably discharged from Albienne military service when it was determined that he was contaminated with magic. Unable to face the life of a Pariah, he climbed aboard a ship to Helen and inside a bottle.
Nine years later, his visions caused him to stumble upon a group of magical terrorists in the slums of Helen, and assisted the ministry in their apprehension. While he'll never be able to be the man he once was, the Ministry gave him a chance to recover some small semblance of pride and self-worth (not to mention a warm bed and regular meals), and the opportunity to help others. That's at least marginally better than drinking himself into oblivion, at least for now.
