The first part is being sent to everyone. The second part is after the group splits, and only includes what each group finds out... The group discusses its plans. It is fairly late at night by the time the group decides what they want to do. Lando and Karn are going to keep watch over the camp while the others return to the village. The guards seem like the plan until they realize that the group intends to return to town that night. (it is already pretty late) The guards thought that the group would wait until morning, and they have no intentions of wandering about in the dark. Joseph takes a stick and causes it to glow as bright as a lantern. With this torch to guide them, he argues, they will not have to stumble around in the dark. Impressed and frightened by the magic display, the guards are still hesitant to leave. Finally Karn has Lando pick the rest of the Wolvesbane for the guards to use. (there really isn't that much, but it makes the guards feel better) The guards finally concur to travel back that night with the prisoner, they breakdown their camp while Ghel and Lando fortify the camp to make it more defensible. (wood stacked in the entryway. Dried leaves spread all around the entrance, etc..) The group inside also winds up asking for a magical light, but Joseph is hesitant about tapping any more of his reserves, so they decide to make due with a mundane lantern. (which they keep far from the wood and leaves in the entryway. Before departing the guards attach a rope to Harvey's hands (bound behind his back) It is about 9:30 PM when the group of Joseph, Ghel, Harvey, Dunkin (Guard), and Piedman (Guard) finally head toward Havenford. They move out using the two lights that Joseph made.
