Perfect Summer Basil Burger

1 lb. ground chuck

kosher salt and pepper

1/4 c. shredded mozzarella

4 English muffins, split and toasted

1 tomato, sliced

2 T. grated Parmesan

Perfect Basil Sauce:

1 green onion, sliced

1 large garlic clove, minced

1/2 c. mayonnaise

3 T. sour cream

1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

kosher salt and pepper

Blend the green onion, basil, garlic, mayonnaise, sour cream, and Worcestershire sauce with an immersion blender or in a food processor.

Quarter the beef into 4 equal portions. Form into burgers, indenting the middle slightly with your thumb. Season with salt and pepper. Grill to taste, 4 minutes per side for medium. During the last 2 minutes of grilling, mound some of the mozzarella onto each burger and let melt.

Lay the toasted muffins open on a platter. put a generous spoonful of the basil sauce on the muffin top.

Place the burger on the bottom half. Sprinkle with the grated Parmesan.

Top burger with the tomato slice. Season with salt and pepper.

Top with the muffin top and enjoy!
