Southern Slow Steaks

What you need:

    • 2 lb. top round sirloin steaks, cut into 3 or 4-inch pieces
    • 1 tsp. salt
    • 1 tsp. pepper
    • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
    • 3 cups water, divided
    • 1 beef bouillon cube
    • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    • 1/2 tsp. onion powder

Directions:

    1. Season steak with salt and pepper.
    2. In a large skillet over medium high heat, add olive oil. When it's hot, add steak and brown on each side. Then place in slow cooker.
    3. In the same skillet, add 2 cups water and beef bouillon cube.
    4. In a medium bowl, whisk 1 cup water, flour, garlic powder, and onion powder together.
    5. Slowly add flour mixture into hot pan. Stir until it thickens.
    6. Pour over the top of the steak.
    7. Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
