Barnyard Burger

What you need:

    • 1 lb. ground beef
    • Salt and pepper
    • Sliced cheddar cheese
    • Romaine lettuce leaves
    • Tomato, sliced
    • 8 strips thick-cut bacon, cooked
    • 4 fried eggs
    • Mayonnaise
    • Hamburger buns

Directions:

    1. Divide ground beef into four patties and flatten a little large than the bun size.
    2. Cook over medium high heat in a skillet or on the grill. Flip once and add cheddar cheese while the other side cooks.
    3. Assemble by slathering mayo on the bottom bun, topping with lettuce, tomato, burger, fried egg, and 2 strips of bacon.

Notes: To get more of the barn on your plate, replace half the ground beef with ground lamb. Substitute goat cheese for cheddar cheese.
