Caprese Steak

What you need:

    • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
    • Steaks (your desired cut)
    • 1 beefsteak tomato
    • Fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
    • Fresh basil leaves

Directions:

    1. In a small skillet, reduce balsamic vinegar by half.
    2. Season steak with salt and pepper and throw into a cast iron skillet on high heat. Sear on each side.
    3. Top with a slice of tomato and mozzarella cheese.
    4. Bake in a preheated 400-degree oven until desired doneness is reached.
    5. Top with fresh basil and balsamic.
