The story behind this drawing is that this tiny woman is hiking by the mushrooms that are the same size as her. This is at night and the moon is casting light on everything. This project relates to my life because I got to go hiking before I made this drawing at Bradbery, and I remember discovering a small mushroom and thinking about how beautiful it was. Maybe I wouldn't've noticed it if I walked slightly differently on the trail.

I made this using procreate on my tablet.

I used the moon's light and the scale of the scene to emphasize the beauty and focal points of the scene. I used shading on the mushrooms and the trees as well as the foreground, midground, background layout to give the drawing depth. I have already gone back and fixed some of the aspects of this drawing that I didn't like initially. I made the lighting more consistent, and I made it clearer that the woman is small (and not far away) by making some of the large blades of grass behind her.
