The story behind this drawing is the 2020 Maine Mock Trial scenario. Terry Jackson is distracted driving, and a kid appears in front of him. Terry with only a few seconds to react jerks the steering wheel to dodge the kid, and the car flips over the crosswalk crashing into a traffic pole. This kills Jane, who was in the passenger seat. I decided to go for a rough style for this because car crashes are messy and chaotic, and I wanted to go with a more expressive and impactful art-style.

I made this on my tablet with procreate.

I used line to create the shapes, and I used line, color, and shade to turn those shapes into forms. I used color to create contrast. Going forward, I would come up with a more original phrase, and I would clean up the drawing a little without changing up the chaotic linework.
