What does it mean that I received an "estimated" security deposit?
California State Law requires that we mail your refund and/or a statement showing how your security deposit is being used within 21 days of your move out.
If the work on your former rental is not completed for whatever reason, we must send you a good faith estimate instead, along with an estimated refund if appropriate.
Once we receive the final invoices for all the work completed we will send you a "Final" version of the security deposit. If you have any questions or wish to dispute the charges at that time, please see "How can I dispute the security deposit charges?"
