I'm not ready to move out yet, can I extend my move out date?

ExtendMoveOut.RPM101.com

If you want to request to extend your move out date, please know that there are two major issues that can occur when requesting a move out date extension:

#1 - The Owner may not approve your request for an extension.

#2 - We may already have an Approved Applicant who has paid a deposit and is planning on moving in based on your scheduled move out date.

Follow these instructions to Request a Move Out Date Extension:

  1. Fill out the "Request to Extend Move Out Date" Form at least 10 business days prior to your scheduled move out date.

  2. Wait 2-3 Business Days for us to process your request. We will check if there is an approved applicant with a set move in date and see if we can get approval for an extension on the move out date.

  3. We will notify you in writing if the extension is approved or not. If if is approved, you are responsible for payment for rent up to the new move out date. If the extension is not approved, you will be required to vacate on the original scheduled move out date and, if you do not vacate by this date, we may be required to start the eviction process.

We are here to help. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Rent & Recurring Charges:

If your request for a move out date extension is approved, you will be responsible for rent, and any other recurring charges, up to the new extended move out notice date (even if you move out prior to the extended notice date). If you are still occupying the unit after your new move out notice expires, you will be considered an unauthorized "holdover tenant" and will be responsible for rent and other charges until you vacate.
