The 99th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade took place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, and began at 8:30 a.m. EST in New York City. The parade featured character balloons, elaborate floats, musical performances, and marching bands, and concluded at Herald Square at approximately 12:00 p.m. EST.
LE student Brooklyn Hines, a member of the Dazzlers drill team, danced alongside the Spirit of America dancers in the parade. Spirit of America Productions produced two performances in the parade for award-winning individuals and teams, including pom groups and dance groups. The Dance performance consists of selections of performers at camps, competitions, and auditions nationwide.
Brooklyn was one of 10 Dazzlers who qualified with All-Star status for the invitation to perform. The entire Dazzler team received the invitation, also at the final trophy presentation for earning a Superior Rating on all group routines from Showtime Dance Camps.
She performed with several hundred dancers.
Spirit of America has chosen a special mix of “ Lady Gaga” for the Dancers.
Brooklyn practised a routine given to her, flew out on November 21st and met with all the other members on November 22nd. Her family also attended the parade.
Liberty-Eylau is proud that one of our own is a part of this unique annual parade in New York.
Thanksgiving Day Parade
Thanksgiving Day was extra special for senior Dazzler Brooklyn Hines, who took the national stage in the Spirit of America Dance Stars performance! We were so proud to see one of our own represent Liberty-Eylau with such talent and grace. Great job, Brooklyn!
