Career Readiness

Over 30 students benefited from this amazing event on Wednesday, September 17th. 

In a dynamic collaboration, RRCU, Texas A&M University, and Workforce Solutions Northeast Texas presented Spark: Students Preparing for Adult Readiness and Knowledge, a premier event designed to equip high school students with the tools, insight, and confidence they need to take charge of their futures.

This free event was tailored specifically for high school students, offering a tour of Texas A&M – Texarkana, an interactive Reality Fair, and hands-on sessions that focused on:

• Budget/Money Management

• Exploring career pathways

• Workforce trends and job readiness

A special thanks to Red River Credit Union and Emily Bright for their incredible effort and dedication. It was truly an informative morning that left a lasting impression!
