List any special memories from high school?
My most meaningful memory is from the end of my junior year. At drill team tryouts, I was awarded Co-Captain of the Dazzlers. When the pure enjoyment of my hard work paid off, I was the happiest I’ve ever been.
Plans after graduation?
I hope to study Biochemistry in the university of my choosing. I am unsure of which university, but I plan to stay in school.
What would you like to accomplish in your lifetime?
I would like to create medicines and vaccines for untreated diseases. Hopefully, I will find myself in a history book.
Any advice for upcoming freshmen?
Don’t sweat it! I hardly remember anything from my freshman year; try not to force yourself to do what everyone else is doing. High school can be fun if you focus on what you want. Find a family! Theatre, tennis, drill team, and leadership have graced me with open arms; I hope everyone can find their safe place at school.
Do you think you left an impact at Liberty Eylau High School?
During my time in leadership, I have tried my hardest to ignite change. I have created efficiency in the school by suggesting and facilitating the use of google forms. By creating many polls, students have an easier passage to share their opinion.
Any final thoughts about being a senior?
High school has been extremely bittersweet. At first glance, I would say I despised every minute of it, but upon further reflection, I realized there were memories I could not live without: the winter tournaments where we froze to death, the adrenaline of drill team tryouts, and the euphoria of performing in front of huge audiences in theatre. Every piece of high school was worth it.
List any special memories from high school?
Football games, pep rallies and special events will always be my favorite memories throughout high school. Go to the events, go to the dances, but most importantly, have fun!
Plans after graduation?
I plan on attending Texarkana College and pursue my dream of becoming a nurse.
What would you like to accomplish in your lifetime?
Graduating high school with a high GPA/rank; maintaining good grades throughout college; starting my career as a nurse; settling down and starting a family.
Any advice for upcoming freshmen?
Do not procrastinate- it will hurt you in the long run. Also, take the dual credit credit classes and complete as many as you can-they're so much cheaper in high school and will help you get ahead in the game.
Do you think you left an impact at Liberty Eylau High School?
I may not have made a difference at Liberty Eylau, but I know I've made a difference in myself. I've grown as a person and as a student throughout my four years of being here-it has taught me so much.
Any final thoughts about being a senior?
It's really almost over... I didn't believe them when they said your high school years would fly by, but I understand it so well. I've met some of the most genuine people here at LE-classmates and teachers and although we may not stay in touch after graduation, they will always have a place in my heart and I will cherish these memories forever.
List any special memories from high school?
Freshman year I played football with my friends from middle school. Also, being on the drumline and almost making it to state.
Plans after graduation?
Once I graduate, if I don't go to college for a business degree, I will pursue a trade.
What would you like to accomplish in your lifetime?
I would like to build generational wealth for my family and support them however I can.
Any advice for upcoming freshmen?
Make friends. If you don't have friends, your high school expierence won't be as pleasing. Do what you want.
Do you think you left an impact at Liberty Eylau High School?
I personally think I accomplished something for the Wright name, for people to remember that I was an all-around person.
Any final thoughts about being a senior?
I'm a bit sad-I'm already a senior. I know I will not see some of my pals for the rest of my life.
List any special memories from high school?
The fifth round of the playoffs against Pleasant Grove in baseball. This was by far the most exciting event that I've ever been a part of while in high school.
Plans after graduation?
My immediate goal after gradutation is to play college baseball, but my long-term goal is to play professional baseball.
What would you like to accomplish in your lifetime?
My purpose as a Christian is to succeed in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is my main goal in life and I would like to use baseball as a means to accomplish this goal.
Any advice for upcoming freshmen?
There will be times when you feel like you are of little value, but you must remember that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, and no one can take that.
Do you think you left an impact at Liberty Eylau High School?
I hope I was able to leave an impact dispite my mistakes and transgressions. I loved my time here and I would love for people to remember my work.
Any final thoughts about being a senior?
It's a bittersweet feeling. I'm so glad that I get to move on and progress my career after I graduate, but I don't want to leave the people I've come to love. It will surely break my heart.
List any special memories from high school?
From football games, to late night softball practices, and pep rallies... they will all hold a special place in my heart forever.
Plans after graduation?
My plans after graduation are to go into the U.S. Navy, while studying psychology to pursue my career as a therapist.
What would you like to accomplish in your lifetime?
I just want to be genuinley happy- a simple definition with so much power behind it.
Any advice for upcoming freshmen?
Enjoy all four years of high school! Join every club, participate in events, make friends and don't slack off. High school is definitley what YOU make it out to be!
Do you think you left an impact at Liberty Eylau High School?
Yes, because I set the standards high for me as well as other students, especially through my participation in activites on and off campus.
Any final thoughts about being a senior?
I'm thrilled to have made it this far. It's been a bumpy road, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end. Here's to a new beginning.
