“Singing at Carnegie Hall in New York City and marching in Washington DC for the Memorial Day Parade are two events I will never forget. Attending Henderson State University and getting a bachelor’s degree in music composition or performance are my plans after graduation. Becoming a famous trombone player and/or traveling around the world directing music are two goals to accomplish in my lifetime. My advice to freshmen: Don’t be afraid to try something new that you are interested in- it could lead you to do great things. I’m happy that this chapter of my life is ending and the new one will begin.”
“After graduation, I plan on going to college and eventually finding work in the medical field. My goal is to finish school and make a good, stable life for myself. Calculus is my favorite class and there is really no least favorite one. I think I have set a good example as a student while at LEHS and although it is the end of high school, it is just the beginning of life. I would tell upcoming freshmen to stay on top of your grades and do not procrastinate because you will regret it later.”
“Every day is a great memory that I hold in my heart. After graduation will be the beginning of a new chapter in my life. I want to have a healthy family and a good life.” Advice for upcoming freshmen? “High school won’t be easy, but try to get the most out of the challenges it brings. Take your time seriously and create a plan for success. Try out new opportunities and use your support system to help you manage your time. Prepare for the future in all you do.”
“Working the book fair during the fall festival would have to be one of my favorite high school memories. My immediate goal is to graduate Valedictorian of my class and eventually receive my doctorate degree in Aerospace Engineering. My favorite class is Mr. Ghimire’s and I don’t have a least favorite one. I like to believe I had some sort of impact on the people around me and I am excited about finishing this chapter of my life and starting the next one.” Advice for upcoming freshmen? “Don’t stress and work hard to achieve your goals.”
“My special memories of high school include medaling in art competitions, creating designs for our band and marching in various competitions with the band. Attending college while serving in the Air Force is my immediate goal upon graduation and pursuing a career in animation has been my dream for a while. To all upcoming freshmen: Don’t be afraid to be in unchartered territory. Enjoy yourself while being educated and try not to stress too much. I hopefully left an impact at this school in the art department. Being a senior is like the final era you go through, so make it count!
“My favorite memories from attending Liberty-Eylau High School were from being a band member all four years. Participating in all band activities is hard work and takes a lot of time but it has been fun and rewarding. Not sure what college I want to attend at this point but attending college is definitely in my future. I worked hard in all my classes in order to keep my grades at their best and hopefully I left an impact at our school.” Advice for upcoming freshmen? “Don’t be limited by the crowd; have fun and always respect others.”- Matthew
