Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment is the first book in a series by James Patterson. It falls under the genres of science fiction and thriller. It follows a teenage girl name Maximum Ride and her flock, who all have wings, on their journey to try to save one of their own and to discover the truth about their past. They do this while the people that made them are hunting them, using a pack of half-wolf, half-humans to do it. This book is filled with drama and action-packed scenes and I recommend it for anybody who likes action books and science fiction.

IT
IT, by Stephen King, is by far one of the best thriller movies I have ever seen. A boy that lives in Derry Maine, has gone outside in the rain to follow his paper boat. When the boat goes down into a sewer the boy finds a clown standing there, (pennywise). Then the boys arm gets bitten off by pennywise and is never seen again. Then a group of kids who band together to search for the killer clown roaming throughout the town in the sewers. I love this movie so much that I even went to see it a second time. It was still as good as the first time.

Portal 2
Many years after the events of Portal (the game before Portal 2 in the series) Chell, the main character, is woken from stasis by a chatty personality core named Wheatley to find the Aperture Science Laboratories falling apart. In the duo's attempt to escape, they end up waking GLaDOS--who is as cold and calculating as ever, and ready to get some more science done. I recommend this this game because it is very humorous at times and has an interesting story line with many "cheats" that can be done if you know them ahead of time or just so happen to do them.

Danganronpa
If you are looking for a video game that will make you experience every emotion to ever exist and make you have so much suspense that you can't even sleep, then you should check out Danganronpa! It is a horror/mystery light novel and there are three games in the entire series. The first game is called " Danganronpa: Happy Trigger Havoc". The story is set in a more modern time where a school names "Hope's Peak" is everyone's dream school but they only accept people with major talents or better known as ultimates. It starts out with our protagonist student but blacks out when he arrives at the school. Whenever he wakes up it is only a matter of time that he finds out that he was forced into a killing game with fourteen other ultimates and the only way to make it out alive is to kill someone and graduate.

iPhone 8 Plus Review
Coming from an iPhone 6 Plus, I feel right at home! There are a lot of familiar features, there are many new features. I purchased this phone BEFORE the iPhone X (ten) was released. The back of this phone is a glass design which now supports wireless charging and fast charging as well. Unfortunately, gone this year is a Rose Gold color.
Interesting Features: This phone is water-resistant, still no Headphone Jack and the pressure sensitive screen helps me navigate through the already easy software.
Processor: The Apple A11 BIONIC is a BEAST when it comes to handling tasks. It’s probably faster than your average computer! This phone is very speedy when doing daily tasks or when playing intensive games.
Battery Life. I wake up in the morning (about 6:30) with the phone on 100% and I arrive home from work about 10:15 in the evening and the phone is still on 45-50% under moderate to heavy usage. It can easily last two days if my days were shorter.
Storage: This year, you only have two storage options: 64GB and 256GB. $150 price difference.
Camera: This camera is hands down better than a $600 camera you see in stores. 12MP, FULL HD, 4K at 60FPS, this phone camera is better than some industry standard television cameras. The Dual Camera system (Wide Angle & Telephoto) is a great experience to have in your pocket.
Speakers: 4 words. Concert in your hand!
Although this phone is expensive, I still recommend anyone who has an iPhone 6s or older to upgrade to this phone. Personally I cannot justify paying more money for a few more features. That’s why I did not wait for the iPhone X. If you purchased iPhone 7 or 7 Plus last year, I would sit out on upgrading this year.
In conclusion, this is a great iPhone that has served me well since launch day. I look forward to using this phone in my everyday life for the next few years!

Album “Blurryface” by Twenty One Pilots
Twenty One Pilots’ album “Blurryface” describes the insecurities of the two members, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun. An interesting thing about this album is how they created a Twitter account for the character Blurryface. The album is an amazing work of art with deep and cryptic roots that describe the dark thoughts of our minds and defeating them for good. Many great songs are featured on the album. Interestingly, the band doesn’t follow a specific genre of music. So if you enjoy various and deep lyrics and music styles, this album is definitely one to hold your ear towards. The greatest thing about the album is the basic idea of it. Once you listen to the first track, a metaphorical journey begins as you venture deeper into the album. The last track “Goner” describes how the singer, Tyler Joseph, is vulnerable and insecure to his dark and depressing mind. However, in the end, he and the fans, aka “The Skeleton Clique” defeat his insecurity who is “Blurryface”. With a variety of meaningful lyrics and relatable ideas, this album definitely deserves its place as good album.
