Captain Marvel is an extraterrestrial Kree warrior who finds herself caught in the middle of an intergalactic battle between her people and the extraterrestrial Skrulls. She keeps having memories of another life as U.S. Air Force pilot named Carol Danvers on the planet Earth in 1955. With help from Nick Fury, Captain Marvel goes on a journey to uncover the secrets of her past while learning her special superpowers to end the war with the Skrulls. I definitely recommend this movie for any Marvel fan that is looking forward to the next Avengers movie.

Most people love a good musical. Mama Mia, Grease, and Les Misérables are all iconic examples of the movie genre. The songs are usually exciting or somber and impactful to the story. Moulin Rouge! is no exception to this, with beautiful vibrant colors and catchy songs to match. Baz Luhrmann practically takes your breath away with elegantly choreographed pieces and puts his signature musical twist on modern songs to make them more aesthetically friendly, while still keeping the funky feel. The story is that of a love one between Christian (Ewan McGregor), an amateur English author with a knack for singing who has come to Paris to throw in his stake with the Bohemian Revolution, and Satine (Nicole Kidman), who has lived as a stage girl all her life. There are moments for everyone to enjoy, from funny to heartbreaking and from romantically charged to practically on-the-edge-of-your-seat exciting! This musical has constant high energy that'll pump your blood and make you appreciate the early 1900s in a new way.

The Clockwork Dynasty by Daniel H. Wilson was interesting and unique. The genre is sci-fi. The main characters are June, a human, and two automatons, Peter and Elena. The bookgoes between the present and the past, when Peter and Elena were brought to life. In the present, June learns about the world of automatons when Peter ask for her help in waking an ancient automaton. In the past, Peter and Elena are learning about the world and trying to fit in with humanity. This book has drama and action while exploring advanced technology that has been around before modern humanity. It is a perfect book for any sci-fi fans.
