Thoughts and comments as the school year comes to an end...
"I have dedicated 6 years to the Liberty-Eylau Band Program and it's been filled with laughter, tears, happiness, and many more emotions. If I had the opportunity to do it all over again, I would.
I wish nothing but the best for the future of the band program and I hope I have left an impact on the students throughout the tenure of my leadership."
"Marching band was my escape from the real world, into the world of music, fun, stupid jokes, and dumb pranks. I'll never find a group I love more than my band family."
"Fun, hard, and short!"
On Saturday, April 13th, 2023 in Orlando, Florida, the Liberty-Eylau High School Band Competed at the Music In the Parks Festival at Universal Studios. The band received the overall highest score (97.6) out of all performing ensembles and received Superior Ratings, placing 1st in their division (Concert Band) and Best Overall Concert Band.
Please congratulate the hard-working and dedicated band student and staff as well as our Band Booster Club and chaperones for making this a successful, once-in-a-lifetime experience for our program. I would also like to thank everyone who donated or participated in our fundraisers that helped us to make this trip possible.
