“My picture is of a Siren: a mermaid that lures people, such as sailors, into the ocean. Drawing and creating is just a hobby for me and I became very interested around 8th grade. Bright colors and detailed artwork are my specialties and my grandmother had the artistic talent- I give her the credit for my gift of drawing.”

“I began drawing when I was really young and you could say I am the only one in my family who really is artistic. I plan on pursuing art in college and would like to make it my main career choice. Beauty does not reflect just your personality, it expresses your diversity and uniqueness that only you would obtain as an individual.”
HOBY Leadership Winner
The Hugh O’Brian Youth leadership is a seminar to inspire and develop youth over the country to be devoted to leadership. This is a program that is conducted in several parts of the United States. I, Myah Seguin, was nominated and elected to Represent Liberty Eylau this summer. The program will be located in Denton, Texas June 8th -10th. The process of being nominated was quite a challenge. Our counselor, Donnie Watson, delivered essays to be selected for the seminar. There were many advocates for this spot, but only one could be chosen. I am very thankful for this nomination and I hope this will be a great experience.- Myah
