Boy's basketball had a record-setting season. Setting a school record with a school record of 34-1 which was a major improvement from the previous year where they went 8-21.
The Leopards finished the season ranked 9th in the state.
The Leopards won the Redwater tournament and the Clarksville tournament and were undefeated district champions. They were picked third in the pre-season polls . The Leopards picked up several individual awards along the way. Tyrese Harris was district MVP, Zay Cooper was defensive MVP of the district, Devon Hall Clark and Dequane Prevo were first team all district and Anthony Marshall and DJ Jackson were second-team all-district. Shawn Hall and Caiden Proctor were honorable mention all districts. Tyrese Harris and Zay Cooper were also all tournament at Redwater and Clarksville tournaments.
The future looks bright for the Leopards as they started 3 sophomores and 1 junior. We also played a freshman a lot during the season and another freshman contributed during the playoffs.

Girl's Basketball.....try to keep up!!!
Girls basketball had a tremendous year in terms of success and overall improvement. We finished the season with an overall record of 22-10 and placed 2nd in district and made it to the playoffs after falling short of playoffs the previous season. We were able to capture a 1st place finish in the Gunslinger Tournament in New Boston as well. We finished the tournament with a record of 6-0 and Z'Ryen Banks and Lanijah Welch were All-Tournament selections.
The girls were able to grow within the new system but also able to play within their game and I think that helped with our overall success. We lost 2 key players (Lakyn Johnson, Kimora Norman) throughout the season, both to ACL injuries, but there were others that stepped up and did whatever was asked of them. Brooklynn Garner was a big piece of our team's success and she was rewarded with District Offensive MVP honors.
We are super excited about bringing our core pieces back with the likes of Banks and Welch, who were 1st Team All-District selections for the season. Most games we started 1 senior, 2 sophomores, and 2 freshmen, so our future is really bright and we are looking to build on this year's improvements to hopefully make the future seasons a sight to see!!!
