From the coaches perspective........
"From the very first practice, we knew this season would stretch us. With only two returners recovering from major knee surgeries and a team full of first-time varsity players, every practice and game showed their courage and willingness to grow.
Winning the Daingerfield Tournament gave us a “we belong here” moment, and losing a set 25–3 reminded us how much work remains. Real growth wasn’t on the scoreboard; it was in the effort, the courage, and the small moments of belief built while showing up for themselves and each other.
What we built goes beyond volleyball; it is a team, a family, and a foundation for whatever comes next. Next season isn’t just about returning — it’s about coming back stronger, smarter, and hungrier than ever."- Coach Briana Murphy
"This volleyball season was a learning experience as we had a very young team having to play some tough varsity teams. We grew leaps and bounds from the beginning of the season and got better every day. We had to work around some adversity this year, along with several injuries.
I am proud of both the JV and Varsity girls as they really bonded this year and worked hard. They were a fun group to coach and made my job enjoyable. I know that they have a bright future ahead and will continue to progress to be victorious. Go Lady Leopards!!!" -Coach Jennifer Hodges
