“I have a few special memories from my years at LEHS which include: making area and All-Region with the marching band; marching in the four states competition; Dallas Cowboy football game my freshman year; participation in the HOSA Veterinary/Science State competition. After graduation, I will definitely attend college to obtain a degree in Veterinary Science and hope to play in the band while in college. Becoming successful, getting my Vet business up and running, and being comfortable and happy are just few of the things I would like to accomplish in my lifetime.” Advice to upcoming freshmen? “At the end of the day, month and year- it is your life, your choice. Live how you want to, but remember those choices you made have consequences.” When asked if she left an impact at the school, Clorissa replied, “I believe so, especially after winning state in the HOSA/Veterinary competition. As a class, I feel we made a difference in that department especially.” Final thoughts about being a senior: “All these years are coming to an end and soon, it will be a whole different game.”
“My favorite memory of high school was the day we took cap and gown pictures. I knew time was winding down at that point. After graduation, I want to attend the University of Texas/Austin, get my degree, start my career as a traveling nurse and make money to take care of my future family. I would like to travel around the world and live my best life while doing it.” Advice for upcoming freshmen: “Don’t get too attached to upperclassmen because when they leave, your feelings get hurt.” Final thoughts about being a senior: “Senior year came really fast and I hope I am ready to face the world on my own.”
“Some of my favorite high school memories include making the A honor roll a couple of times, winning some football awards, and deciding to join the Army. Since I have already sworn into the military, upon graduating my plans are to complete the full 20 years, then attend UTI to learn how to work on trains, boats and diesels. Owning a big house and 6 cars at one time are just a couple of things I want to accomplish in my lifetime. Being a great husband and father is important to me as well.” Advice for upcoming freshmen? “Don’t slack; your friends are not your friends; stay to yourself and be more focused on your grades than anything else.” “I’ve changed and matured since entering high school. Hopefully, others understand the need for change and will do the same.” Final thoughts about graduating: “Being a senior has a lot of responsibilities; Don’t slack; Make sure you have a plan; Don’t get caught without a plan because in a few short months, you’ll be on your own.”
“I had too many memories to explain- overall, my entire 4 years were good. My plans after graduation include attending college to further my career in cosemetology. Traveling out of the US is something I would like to accomplish in my lifetime.”

“A special memory of mine from high school would have to be going to prom last year as a junior- it was crazy lit. My plans after graduation include joining the Air Force and getting my bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. I hope to be successful and a strong voice for change in politics and in the black community.” Advice for upcoming freshmen: “Take as many AP/college classes as soon as possible. Enjoy every day of high school because time flies.” “I hope I had a positive impact on others and encouraged others to so the same. It’s pretty tough adjusting to the amount of responsibility of being a senior, but I’ve adjusted well. At this point, I just can’t wait to graduate!”
“I will never forget the first day of school in 9th grade and going to the wrong class. I went to the east campus instead of west and was late. My plans after graduation are to attend a university and major in entrepreneurship and possibly playing football while getting my degree. Being able to provide for myself and family is my goal.” Advice for upcoming freshmen? “Make the best of every day and enjoy high school while it lasts” “Hopefully I was an example in boy’s athletics by being here each day and making good grades. These years in high school have gone by so quickly- I still cannot believe I’m a senior.”
