Ed Tech Speed Dating

Concept:

Based on the concept of speed dating in coffee shops - participants will begin with a partner and switch partners every 2-3 minutes. The topic of conversation will be sharing a tech tool (Web 2.0 or app), strategy, instructional practice, project idea or whatever you happen to have discovered, used, and loved in your professional practice.

We will create four dating zones....

• Elementary
• Secondary Humanities
• Secondary Science/Math/Tech
• Crossover/Specialists/Other

Outline:

Introduction/Fill out Google Form: 10 minutes

Partner Up: 2-3 minutes

Speed Date: 30 minutes (switch every two)

Wrap Up/Review Spreadsheet: 3 minutes
