Building Classroom Culture

What does your 1st day of school look like? Do you bombard your students with the syllabus, the do's and don'ts, the lecture of what it takes to be successful in your class, all doing it with the meanest face possible? You are a STAR, so I don't think you would. This session is all about fist pumps, high fives, and setting a stage of trust and respect with you students. During this session, you will be students in my classroom, completing the activities that I do with my students on that crucial first day of school. It has to start that day, or it may be too late!
